I'm listing this 2002 DODGE RAM 1500 SPORT PICKUP for a good friend of mine. He's the 3rd owner and is selling because he purchased a working van more suited for his needs. One important factor about this vehicle is that although the odometer reads about 153,000 miles it actually has about 7,000 since recent rebuilt engine. The story is that he knows the original owner, and the 2nd owner from the same congregation. The original owner was a preacher which sold it to another member who apparently under the influence put diesel fuel instead of regular causing damage to the engine! 

The motor has been completely overhauled costing nearly $3,000 in parts alone. The fuel tanks was also removed and drained. All filters including fuel pump were replaced too. I personally drove the truck and it runs like a new vehicle - it's really nice! Everything works including cold A/C. Tires are in very good shape too. Cosmetically looks very good also, but it has a light ding on the driver side front fender (see photos), plus some minor scuffles here and there. I was told that this truck has a clean record, no accidents, etc, whatsoever. To sum it up, this Dodge looks and drives like a vehicle with only a few years that's ready to go to a new home!! Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, and thanks for looking!

Required Deposit:  A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours from the end of the auction and is payable through Pay Pal. The deposit is refundable ONLY in the event I failed to accurately describe the vehicle, OR if you uncover an issue that I wasn't aware of. I cannot accept balance through Pay Pal because Electronic Tracking is required to maintain Pay Pal Buyer/Seller Guarantees.

Payment of Balance: The balance is payable to the seller at the time you take possession of the vehicle. Payments can be made by personal check (upon clearance), cashiers checks (upon clearance) bank wire transfers, or good old fashion cash.

Taking Possession of The Vehicle: Our policy is that you take possession of the vehicle and finalize the transaction within 7 days. If you require additional time, please let me know so I can make the arrangements with the seller. Please note, that the Seller has possession of the vehicle, so it'll be picked up at the Seller's address. Although I've examined the title, it's also in the possession of the Seller and will be endorsed when the transaction is finalized.

Out of Town Buyers – Shipping the Vehicle: If you're an out-of-town buyer, full payment must be made prior to shipping.  I'll be glad to assist buyers in making shipping arrangements and I can refer buyers to a trusted transportation company that I personally use, but all costs are buyer's responsibility.

Car History Reports: eBay no longer offers complementary car history reports since I transact such a quantity of sales. So, I leave it to the buyer to pull one if desired.

Warranties & Guarantees: As is customary, the vehicle is being sold “As Is,” and there are No Warranties or Guarantees offered.

Prior Sale of Vehicle:  Keep in mind that I'm listing vehicles for others, and on a very rare occasion it happened that a seller changed his mind during the course of the auction. We ALL act in good faith, but an unforeseen circumstance can arise.... in two years of conducting eBay vehicle auctions and having sold hundreds of vehicles, this kind of thing happened once, but I wanted to mention this VERY REMOTE possibility right up-front.
