Must Sell 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab 4x4 Long Box on 2040-cars
Brookfield, Illinois, United States
Have to sell and MUST take delivery by this Saturday, May 3rd. This is an AWESOME truck. It has been maintained like clockwork as well. Must sell by this weekend or I have to trade it in on a new vehicle. Low reserve. I am the original owner of it and have the title to prove it. I purchased it with 84 miles on it. LOCAL BUYERS ONLY!!!! CASH ONLY!!!
Has typical Illinois/Dodge rust on door bottoms, rear bumper and a little on the fenders. Auto dim rear view mirror doesn't work and overhead sunglass holder is kinda broken (the clip that keeps it closed), small stitching tear on edge of drivers seat.. I have the oil service printed out and a clean carfax too. I brought it through emissions just last week and it passed. Cargo lighting, Heated power mirrors, extra leaf spring for more hauling capacity, engine block heater, EVERYTHING WORKS except for the minor items I said don't. Good tires , NO LEAKS, engine has never even had the valve covers off. Newer fuel pump, alternator, water pump, air conditioner compressor, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, distributer, distributer cap, I had to keep it in top notch running condition because it was my money maker vehicle. |

Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014
Mon, Dec 22 2014With less than two weeks until 2014 takes its final bow, anyone and everyone is looking back on the past 50 or so weeks to see how they stacked up. For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... Scroll down to see the rest of this year's most searched for automakers, and then head into Comments and let us know if you're surprised by any of these. This content is hosted by a third party. Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death
Tue, 07 Jan 2014There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.
2013 Dodge Dart GT
Mon, 16 Dec 2013My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.
