This is a VERY rare fabulous condition 1985 Dodge Ram Charger ,with a double upgrade package, the Royal SE and the Prospector package. This is the only one I have ever seen like this. It is finished in bronze metallic under adobe beige, simply amazing .It was repainted about 3 years ago before I bought it and I have driven it maybe 500 miles ,it sits covered in my garage here in Florida. The car has been in Florida for over 20 years and is dry and completely rust free. It is in the best condition of any one you will find at double my price. The mileage shows 19K (probably 119K) but it's appearance is that of the 19K.Motor and tranny rebuilt within past 2 years, under belly is very clean.
Powered by the best motor Mopar ever made a perfect running 318 with automatic, air, power windows, brakes and power steering. Everything works as factory on the Dodge. Just had it serviced and new tires with the late model Dodge wheels. The under hood pictures show a yellowish firm . That is the dealer spray on rust proofing. I did not remove (comes off with a little solvent) because I really didn't want change the patina of the motor area . It certainly could be detailed to show condition on a good afternoon if you so choose. It does not leak or drip a drop.
The interior looks like near new and the back seat and cargo area look like they have never been used. It has amazing seats that are called a Navaho pattern and look new with a rattlesnake headliner, yes rattlesnake, rare, cool and all in mint shape. Nice Kenwood stereo head unit with amp and speakers .
I am a private seller with title in hand. I am selling at a fair price and one that will be a fabulous investment going forward. This is the nicest one I have ever seen .No real reason for selling just making room for something new.I have perfect feedback and I certainly don't want to over sell but with this one it's hard not to brag, you won't be disappointed. I know a couple of great shippers (shipping is low right now)and will assist any way I can .It is certainly available for pick-up or viewing prior to auction end. Thanks and email with questions or If you are serious call 321 663 8790. Mark I can assure you you will find another like this one probably at any price. I say the truck will be worth 20K in a few years.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR First Drive [w/video]
Fri, Jul 17 2015The Dodge Viper is not a comfortable car. Livable, yes. The interior is covered in fine materials. But you still climb over a hot door sill to enter the tiny cabin. And the frequency range of the engine's noises seem specifically designed to cause headaches. What happens, then, if you remove all pretense of civility from a Viper and add equipment solely aimed at improving lap times? You would have the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. In terms of achieving its purpose, this car is a absolute success. In many ways it's also the most honest Viper of the current generation. Prices start at $121,990 (including $2,100 gas-guzzler tax and $1,995 destination), or $32,900 more than the least expensive Viper. In ACR trim, the Viper loses the under-carpet padding, 9 of 12 speakers plus amplifier, carpet and trim from the cargo area, and sound deadening in front of the rear wheel wells. The parts of the interior still covered add healthy amounts of Alcantara or optional carbon fiber. That weight loss is compensated by the addition of go-fast bits like the giant rear wing (or the larger "x-wing" on the Extreme Aero Package), 10-way adjustable Bilstein Motorsports shocks, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a rear diffuser, and a front splitter. Total claimed curb weight is 3,392 pounds in Aero trim (standard ACR trim is 18 pounds lighter), which is within a few stone of the rest of the Viper lineup. The diffuser strakes and leading edge of the splitter are removable, made to be replaced after rubbing on track tarmac and make street driving slightly more practical. Not that you'd want to drive the ACR on the street, with the lack of noise insulation and spring rates twice as stiff as the Viper TA, but it is street-legal. Dodge claims the DOT-approved Kumho Ecsta V720 tires on the ACR allow faster lap times than some race compound tires. Our test was limited to on-track shenanigans at Virginia International Raceway. Which is fitting because we wouldn't have anything good to say about driving the car on the street. The ACR is, essentially, a race car sold in the showroom, although with the Viper's 1 of 1 customization program, your custom build can include as many creature comforts as you like. Lined up in pit lane at VIR, the Viper ACRs for our evaluation blur the air with heat shimmer. All of the test cars have air conditioning, but that shuts off at full throttle with a six-second reset.
Dodge Viper to out-Hell the Hellcat with supercharged V10?
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The Viper wouldn't be the Viper if it wasn't the most powerful model under the Chrysler umbrella. But with the arrival of the Hellcat engine in the Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Viper has fallen behind in the bragging rights department: where the new supercharged V8 produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated V10 offers "only" 640 hp and 600 lb-ft - gargantuan output figures by almost any other standard, but crucially behind on the SRT power scale. Conner Avenue is going to have to do something about that.
Although the Hellcat's engine reportedly won't fit under the Viper's hood, SRT is now rumored to have another trick up its sleeve: supercharge the existing V10. According to the Pentastar performance enthusiasts at allpar.com, Chrysler has already taken delivery of the first such prototype engines so that it can begin the process of fitting it into an upgraded Viper.
The spooled ten-pot is tipped to produce around 800 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. More than that and the Viper's drivetrain, chassis and bodywork would have to be substantially reworked. Though beefier transmissions are available, fitting them would reportedly set off a domino-game of changes required to handle the added torque. Which may be something Chrysler would be prepared to do for the next-generation model, but in the meantime, 800 hp could prove enough to put the Viper back atop the Mopar performance ladder where it belongs, and give it an edge against the new Corvette Z06 to rekindle sales.
