Flawless, perfect
(practically)
2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 with a Roe Racing
supercharger, Belanger long tube headers and an
ultra-low 30,472 miles. Supercharger
installation is complete, including new injectors, plugs, thermostat, throttle body
and additionally, a water/methanol boost conversion kit. The result: something north of 600
horsepower. (more on tap with included extra smart
cards) This 1-owner, 505 cubic inch monster
looks and functions like a brand new truck. That's
not hyperbole - it truly is near flawless . . .
Bi-Zenon headlights behind smoked
lenses and a hood scoop made functional by the Roe
high-flow air filter with heat shields, snug around the
under hood intake. The supercharger installation
is aesthetically flawless and functionally perfect.
No drivability issues, no overheating and dead reliable.
Every modification to this truck was carefully planned,
carried out and fully sorted before the next upgrade was
considered. We spent a lot of time with the
original owner, over lunch, in our facility and on the
road behind the wheel. The work done was performed
with exacting precision . . .

This is what an intelligently lowered
vehicle looks like. The Ground Force lowering kit
brings the front down an inch and the rear two inches.
Using blocks/bump stops/shackles, correct rate front
springs and correct rate shocks, critical suspension
geometry preserves bushing and tire wear. Initial
turn-in is razor sharp and the first time you take a
tight corner at speed, you'll swear you are in a Viper.
Lowering a truck is easy. A lowered truck that
doesn't rub, vibrate or become noisy on rough roads -
with stock ride quality and comfort - is indeed a rare
accomplishment . . .
Smooth and understated, all badges are
removed, save the Viper hood call-outs and SRT-10 tail gate
emblem. Tail lights are LED with smoked lenses.
The 22-inch Speedline forged aluminum wheels are 10-inches
wide, high polished and have never kissed a curb . . .
The shadow beneath the bumper appropriately
minimizes from view a Mopar class 3 receiver hitch and
lights connector. Twin tail pipes are behind a full
dual exhaust system that begins with a pricey pair of
Belanger long tube headers, complete with high-flow cats
(fully heat shielded, of course) and mid-pipes.
Belanger headers already have a ceramic/metallic coating but
these also have a Jet-Hot coating. Besides the obvious
performance gains, you've never heard a V10 sound so sweet .
. .
A near flawless body, impeccable panel seams
and paint quality that showcases all this perfection with
unapologetic curbside swagger. With a locking tail
gate, the Mopar hard tonneau cover can keep a large volume
of valuables secure. We'll let you decide if the wing
is too much . . .
Any Ram SRT-10 with only 30,000 miles is
predictably, going to be a highly sought after vehicle.
This truck has the best supercharger money can buy and
includes a Roe VEC3 tune (with extra smart cards)
allowing you to dial in whatever performance you think you
can handle. The headers and suspension upgrades take
full advantage of the big 505 cubic inch V10's heroic output.
Everything is documented so there is no speculation
about what was done, when it was done or how much it cost.
This 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 has averaged under 300 miles a
month since new, was never parked outside overnight and its
only owner (a person we can put you in contact with if
necessary once you own the truck) regarded it as a much loved adopted son.
I would be remiss if I didn't comment on a
rare, limited production short bed, regular cab pickup with
a supercharged 505 cubic inch V10 under its hood. Even
in stock form, the Ram SRT-10 is all about extremes.
At intro, it set an SCCA record as the world's fastest
production truck and even today, the Ram SRT-10 remains the
world's fastest full size, factory pickup. Simply put;
Dodge dropped the biggest, most powerful gas engine ever
offered in any truck, into the smallest full size pickup
they had. They endowed it with strength in all the
right places to withstand the extreme output and blessed it
with handling to match. This particular truck takes
that insane philosophy a step or two further with even
better handling and significantly more
horsepower. Acceleration is absolutely breathtaking
and the linear torque delivery (crucial with an engine
making near 700 ft-lbs. of torque) builds and swells in a
seeming unending tsunami of g's to the backside. Why
the need for more power in an 8.3 liter V10 that already
makes 500 horsepower?

With auto-dimming mirrors, dark tint and

Roe Racing top mount, twin screw

which smart card you use, this engine is capable of over
700 horsepower.
It looks like a brand new truck under

A note from the owner.
I am a “used car dealer” but before that,
I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high
quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve
been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding
selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize
in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that
were cherished by their previous owners. I have an
experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my
preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I
have therefore, built my business and reputation around
finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer.
Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict
requirements but a car must do something for me on a
personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the
bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional
vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably
won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of
business.
With just four employees and no sales
people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may
at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort
to create such an organization and often, an unusually high
investment in a particular car we are about to list. To
sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my
corner and Chris, owner of
A-Best Auto Repair
in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix
anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute
most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no
small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point
inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes
their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that
everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back
to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy
customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it
allows my writer to describe the car with ease and
confidence, something that simply is not possible unless
he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the
cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too
expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply
absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it
at auction.
After the vehicle is fully sorted it
arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious
eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see
on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else
tells him about the car as he combs over every inch,
researches its history and documents originality and
authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special
features, possible modifications and much more are used to
accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty.
Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150
high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey
equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the
very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a
logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with
close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed
views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a
lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty
of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep.
Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so
meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take
several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially
prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each
car lovingly receives.
Usually, I’ll also include a high
definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If
it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4
you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will
hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system
and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser
thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many
“dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We
do.
No “dealer,” on-line or in the real
world, takes it to this level. No other seller or
organization provides you, the buyer, with so much
information. I do this because it is the only way I can
convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or
feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I
say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay
in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every
buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on
eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that
are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought
it.
If you have any questions at all, please
call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is
sincere and your offer serious, you’ll find me the most
accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If
you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my
bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the
conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the
trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest
nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a
number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste
your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.”
Serious buyers know the maximum they can
offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that
number.
If you hit the reserve, the decision is no
longer mine. I must sell at that number.
I don't respond to emails
asking for "bottom line, sale price, reserve, or Buy-it-Now"
figures on top line cars.
THE ONLY WAY YOU GET THOSE
FIGURES IS TO CALL ME!
The book values posted below are relevant to "real" selling
figures.
NADA & KBB wouldn't be
in business if they posted nonsense. But they only account
for averages around the nation. If this car is less than or
better than average, bid or offer accordingly.

Consumer Reports takes its independent vehicle testing procedures seriously. In an era when we have to question the EPA's official ratings thanks to recent re-evaluations from Ford and Hyundai, an independent voice is important. So, when CR says something is the best, it's worth paying attention to. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel has "about the same fuel-economy numbers that we typically see in a midsized SUV." – Jake Fisher In this case, CR took a look at the fuel economy of the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and found that it came out on top of the fullsize pickup truck pack. The Ram did so with 20 miles per gallon overall and 27 mpg on the highway. CR gave the truck a total road test score of 82. The EPA says that the EcoDiesel 1500 gets 28 mpg on the highway, 20 mpg city and 23 mpg combined. Comparing official EPA numbers, the Ram is also the best among trucks in its class. It's nice when people agree on something. As we know from first-hand, long-distance experience, you can push the 1500 EcoDiesel to 38 mpg. CR found in its own testing that the truck had, "about the same fuel-economy numbers that we typically see in a midsized SUV," said Jake Fisher, CR's director of automotive testing, in a statement. Speaking of midsized SUVs, CR also announced this week that the new Toyota Highlander Hybrid got the top spot in CR's ratings in that category. CR liked pretty much everything about the SUV, saying that the "transitions between electric power and the gas engine are seamless" and that, "the new Highlander also handles better, with a steadier ride and reduced body lean in corners." In other parts of the world, Fiat builds and sells a version of the Dodge Dart called the Viaggio, and it appears that in addition to the current sedan bodystyle, a new hatchback version of the car is also in the works. Autocar says that the general manager for China's Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture, John Burton, has confirmed that a new Viaggio hatchback will be revealed by the end of this year before it goes on sale in early 2014. The Viaggio will soon be joined by the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which in China will be called the Liberty Light, at the Guangzhou-Fiat plant. While the idea of a Dodge Dart hatchback might be enough to enable most of us to forget about the Dodge Caliber, a North American variant doesn't appear to be in the cards. We reached out to Chrysler PR boss Rick Deneau, and he offered a succinct: "No plans at this time."
I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old. But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little. Driving Notes
