2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab SLT
4.7L V8 Magnum Gas Engine
112k miles (mainly highway)

Description: Excellent condition Dodge Ram truck for sale. Exterior color is blue and interior is gray. Comes with power windows, locks, AM/FM CD Player, tool box, Line X spray on bed liner, brand new all terrain Cooper tires. Excellent condition chrome wheels. Spent over $800 on the new tires alone. They have about 500 miles on them. Runs and drives great. Fresh tune up. Title is clean and in hand. Great work truck or for the family!

**Had to relist due to buyer being unable to align financing on their end.

Pricing: Kelley blue book has this truck priced around $12k retail and $10,300 private party not factoring in the tool box and brand new tires. Accepting offers, don't let this bad boy go. It's a really nice truck.

Known Issues: The interior is in excellent condition with the exception of a small tear on the driver's seat. It's about four inches long but can be easily repaired by an upholstery person. There are some light scratches on the drivers door at the edge. It is hard to see them but you can see them when you open the door. Nothing too serious. When the truck is started in the cold morning, there is a light knocking sound from the engine, it goes away as the engine warms up. Other than that, the truck runs really well. If you would like more pictures, shoot me an email.

Financing: eBay has a good financing company if you are considering that option. Click on "Get low monthly payments" below the price to apply. They offer up to 72 months and as low as 1.99% financing.

Transportation: Buyer will be responsible for pick up or delivery arrangements. eBay offers a few transportation companies but I've heard really good things about Riteway Auto Transports. (ritewayautotransports.com) if you are interested. Ask for Pete.

Payment: $500 deposit via paypal is required within 24 hrs. Remaining balance due within 7 days. Accepting only cash, certified funds, or bank wires.
Truck is also listed locally on criagslist and in the photo ad. Will consider offers. This is a great truck, don't let it slip by. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.

MotorWeek remembers a better time for Mitsubishi performance

Fri, Feb 26 2016

Dodge still knows how to create an capable performance car – look at the Hellcats, for example – but the same isn't true for Mitsubishi. With the Lancer Evo's demise, we don't expect driving enthusiasts to clamor for any of the Japanese automaker's other products. Things used to be different, though. As MotorWeek found in its new Retro Review, the 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and its sibling, the Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo, were impressive sports coupes in their day. Dodge and Mitsubishi packed a bevy of cutting-edge tech into the coupes. In these trims, both sported all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, an adjustable suspension, active exhaust, and automatic climate control. The 3000GT VR4 upped the ante even more with active aero parts at the front and rear. Their 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 was good for 300 horsepower and 307 pound-feet, which were good numbers at the time. This pair put all their gizmos to good use, too. MotorWeek compares the all-wheel-drive system's grip levels to a Porsche 911 Carrera 4. When was the last time you heard any favorable similarity between a Mitsubishi and a Porsche? The Stealth R/T Turbo and 3000GT VR4 came from a special time for Japanese sports coupes, when every brand had a halo model. Whether you were looking at Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Toyota Supra, or even the Acura NSX, there was a lot to like on the market. MotorWeek's latest Retro Review offers a great reminder of that period.

Dodge performance trio thrashed on Roadkill

Tue, Apr 14 2015

Of all the shows that Motor Trend does, Roadkill is probably the last one we'd pick to evaluate the latest performance automobiles. That's not a slight against David Freiburger or Mike Finnegan, who host the show: they're certified gear-heads and the go-to guys when it comes to hot rods, rat rods and anything grungier than it is shiny. But as exemplary as they are of Detroit muscle, the Charger Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat and Viper are also shiny new pieces of metal. Still, since it will now be sponsoring the show, someone at Dodge apparently thought it would be a good idea to hand Freiburger and Finnegan the keys to the company's top performance models. So to ring the best out of them, they solicited help from some of their colleagues at MT, gained access to a closed-down air strip, devised as many ways as they could to destroy the tires, and proceeded to set about doing exactly that. Watch the grin-inducing mayhem unfold in the half-hour clip above. Related Video:
