2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD Big Horn Edition.  5.7 Hemi with the multi-displacement technology offers the best of both power and economy with up to 20 MPG on the freeway, but still has plenty of grunt to tow or hall anything you may want at highway speeds.

This truck has 108,000 easy and dry New Mexico highway miles and was bought new in Espanola NM for $35,000.00.  It has never been exposed to NE Salt, floods, or high humidity.  The 100,000 mile tune up was just completed 8000 miles ago. This consisted of :  Coolant flush, break system flush, transmission and transfer case fluids changed and replaced with new synthetic fluid, front and rear diff fluid changed, new spark plugs (16 of them!,) new air cleaner and power steering fluid changed and replaced with synthetic.  She also just had a fresh oil change within the last 200 miles (synthetic, as always, as that is what this high tec engine requires.)

In addition to the tune up, the front CV's and shocks were replaced and the front wheels aligned, a new Interstate battery was fitted, and all four wheels received new break shoes and rotors.

This truck has every option available on the Big Horn, including:  Wood grain dash and door panel accents, tinted windows, rear slider, aluminum rims, ABS, fuel economy/trip computer/compass, factory bed liner, running boards, factory tow package with receiver hitch, and a very well made custom rear headache rack.  The interior has factory wood grain dash/door panel inserts, power windows and locks, power drivers seat, cruise control, tilt, satellite radio with the upgraded factory sound system, air conditioning (ice cold, even when Santa Fe hit One Hundred degrees!)  Power steering and
selec-trac 4WD.  It has factory fog lights, heated mirrors, security system and rear limited slip differential.

This truck has always been garaged, and it shows!  The original paint is in great shape and shines like it did when new.  The headlights are not yellowing, the rubber is like new and the interior is not faded.  There are a few dings and scratches, but it has never been wrecked or repaired.  I used this truck around the house for small building projects and to commute to work, so it has never been used as a work truck. The tires have about 50% tread remaining and everything works as it should.  It drives like a brand new truck!  The interior has some minor marks and stains, but there are no rips or tears and it comes with Husky floor liners.  You will love this truck!!!!!!

The Kelley Book value on this truck with these miles and options (not counting any value of the hand made headache rack which cost about $1000.00 to have made) is between $13,600.00 (poor) - $16,600.00 (Excellent) and Edmunds value of $14,800.00.  This truck is unquestionably in excellent condition with all current maintenance, needs absolutely nothing.  I have the title in hand and you can drive it home today.  It can also be delivered to you for a nominal fee.

A deposit of $1000.00 will be required within 24 hours of end of auction via paypal.  The balance is to be paid only by cash or cashiers check within 7 days. Cashiers check must clear before transaction is final and title is delivered.  I also encourage you to come drive the truck and have it looked at by a mechanic of your choice.    Ask questions as needed  See photos   Buy with confidence  i have lots of positive feedback!             I reserve the right to end this auction early as it is also being offered for sale locally.

Which electric cars can charge at a Tesla Supercharger?

Sun, Jul 9 2023

The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric.  Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands.  If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla.  Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor.  Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have:  Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR priced from $117,895

Tue, May 12 2015

Fancy getting your hands on the all-new Dodge Viper ACR? Prepare to shell out at least $117,895, not counting destination or gas-guzzler tax. Those two add $1,995 and $2,100, respectively, for an out-the-door price of $121,990. That's $32,900 more than a base 2015 Viper, or the equivalent of a Challenger with a few options. As we explained previously, the ACR model doesn't do much for outright power – the 8.4-liter V10 offers up only five more ponies than before – but it does add suspension and aerodynamic upgrades that make this particular Viper far more potent on the track. The order books are officially open for the ACR, so if you've got the coin, get in touch with your local dealer. Until then, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the ACR's pricing. Would you shell out $118,000 for the ultimate Viper? DODGE OPENS ORDER BANKS FOR NEW 2016 DODGE VIPER ACR The fastest street-legal Viper track car ever offers a tremendous value for performance May 12, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Viper enthusiasts with the need for ultimate handling, performance and road course domination, as well as the ability to drive their Viper home from the track, can now place their orders for the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever. The Dodge brand has announced pricing and opened order banks for the recently introduced 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. Unveiled last week at the revamped Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, the American Club Racer model of the iconic, hand-built American supercar will have a starting U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $117,895 (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax). "Bringing our street-legal Dodge Viper ACR back is going to arm our track enthusiasts with the ultimate weapon to dominate road courses across the country," said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO - Dodge and SRT Brands, FCA - North America. "This is without a doubt the best Viper ACR ever. The latest in aerodynamic, braking and tire technology will ensure its legendary performance reputation around the world." Originally introduced in 1999 and last available for the 2010 model year, the Viper ACR has a long-standing legacy as the ultimate street-legal track car for club racing. The new 2016 model honors that performance legacy with significant aerodynamic and suspension upgrades, new Carbon Ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers and high-performance tires specifically designed for ACR.

SRT partners with Bondurant for performance driving classes

Fri, Nov 6 2015

Dodge and Bob Bondurant have announced a new partnership that will see the latter become the former's official high-performance driving school. The deal will see the Bondurant school's entire fleet of nearly 100 vehicles switched over from mostly General Motors products to Dodge Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. It will give paying customers the chance to drive models like the new Hellcats and even the Viper ACR (for those deemed qualified to drive it) on the track in Arizona. The arrangement won't only benefit Bondurant clients, though. Anyone who buys or leases a new SRT model will get a one-day course at the school, including professional instruction on track. They'll have to pay for their own travel and accommodations, but the instruction will hopefully show more drivers of SRT vehicles how to handle all that muscle they've got at their disposal. DODGE/SRT PARTNERS WITH LEGENDARY BOB BONDURANT SCHOOL OF HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving Is Now "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT" - All customers who buy a new 2015 or 2016 model SRT will receive one full-day session of high-performance driving with professional instruction and time on the track as part of the Dodge/SRT package - Bondurant attendees will get to experience the full line of Dodge/SRT vehicles, including the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Hellcats - Bondurant's entire fleet of cars is being converted over to Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Vipers - Non-Dodge owners can purchase racing instruction through Bondurant and experience their full line of Dodge SRT vehicles on the track - Racing participants who qualify will get to experience the Dodge Viper ACR, the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever November 3, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - New Dodge/SRT buyers grab your racing shoes and helmets – Dodge is teaming up with the legendary Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving to create "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT."
