***OWN THE FASTEST PRODUCTION TRUCK BUILT******** ONLY 19,535 miles.!!!!!
One family owned until I purchased about 18 months ago. Original owner owned other SRT's and passed away and family inherited it and then traded to dealer who sold new in Cadillac Mi. Dealer put new tires on it when I purchased it with 16,422 miles so tires only have 3000 miles on them. No sunroof or Nav. but totally stock truck. I used in summers for my business for local deliveries and then stored inside, heated and covered. **EXTENDED WARRANTY**** I was able to purchase an extended warranty from the dealer covering this SRT until 8/15 or 34,709 miles. Warranty is transferable. I believe rear bumper was repainted due to backing into something (previous owner) but balance of truck is all factory original paint. No door dents, no torn/worn interior, and everything works. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE…….. The Quad cab SRT was only made in 2005 and 2006 with supposedly a total of 3766 total made in the two years. In 2005 there were 1136 Red Quads built. This is one of the lower mile RAM Srt 10's out there. I see plenty on ebay with over 100k miles or 50-80k miles but here is one like new, with miles of a 1-1/2 year old truck with warranty. This truck is being sold merely due to reducing company owned vehicles/expenses. Truck is financed locally and lien can be released immediately with your wired funds directly to the local lien holder. Title is in my possession and ext. warranty and other related items will pass along to new owner. I would be happy to drive to you as long as you pay fuel expenses and rental car fee for me to get home within 500 miles or so of Grand Rapids, Mi. I would be happy to pick you up at our local airport should you want to fly in and drive home. Plenty of shippers out there to transport should you need to have shipped. This truck new…retailed for about $50,000. You can own this 19k mile example for less than 1/2 of that. Serious bidders with available funds, please BID TO OWN as the modest reserve will be known when met. *****ATTENTION- If you have (3) or less feedback you MUST message me first to tell me your intentions of being able to pay per my terms. Being the high bidder doesn't give you right of refusal….. If you are the winning bidder, you bought it and payment is expected within 3 days. In the event you can't be at the computer for the end of the auction, you may want to sign up for one of the auction bidding services that can bid for you during the final seconds of the auction. |

How to update and secure a vulnerable Chrysler Uconnect system
Sat, Jul 25 2015If you own one of the 1.4 million vehicles affected by the recent Chrysler software recall, you may want to watch this video. In it, we explain how to get the latest infotainment software loaded onto the 8.4-inch Uconnect system. The recall was a response to the findings of researchers who were able to hack into and remotely control a 2014 Jeep Cherokee through its cellular connection. Although Fiat Chrysler has worked with Sprint to plug most of the holes on the carrier side, there are still some vulnerabilities that only this latest software version can patch. Owners have three options to get the update: download it now, wait for a USB stick in the mail, or take the vehicle to an FCA dealer. Chrysler will be sending USB sticks loaded with the software update to customers. Anyone with an internet connection and a USB stick of their own with at least 4 GB capacity can speed things up by downloading the patch from the Uconnect website. We cover that process from start to finish in the video, with the final portion still applicable to those using the FCA-supplied USB stick. If after watching this you still don't want to tackle the patch yourself, you can take your vehicle to the dealer to have it done. Also note that this process is the same for all Uconnect updates, not just the one patching the exploits. Our demonstrator vehicle is a 2015 Ram 1500 pickup. The procedure should be very similar on other products with the 8.4-inch Uconnect system, with only the location of the USB port varying. Once you have the USB stick with the software on it – either after having downloaded it yourself or receiving it in the mail from Chrysler – the installation process is relatively simple. It takes about 15 minutes to perform the update; we edited out the wait in the video. To check whether or not your car's 8.4-inch Uconnect system is running the latest software, go to System Information on the touch screen's Settings page and look at Software Version. The update related to the recall is version 15.17.5. Related Video: Recalls Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Safety Technology Infotainment Videos Original Video hacking
Daily Driver: 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
Tue, May 26 2015Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers who drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, reviewed by Greg Migliore. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: [00:00:00] Hey, everybody. It's Greg Migliore and today I am driving a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger. That can only mean one thing: I'm driving the Hellcat. Naturally, the spotlight feature of this car is the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. Makes 707 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque. [00:00:30] Now naturally the engine sounds great and you can hear all of those horses going out the exhaust in back, which I think the Dodge guys have tuned really well. I think it's got one of the more unique sounds in the industry. All that horsepower will do that, but they've tuned it so there's a low kind of growl, and then it burbles and it's angry [00:01:00], it's visceral. I like it. It's intoxicating. It's different than other muscle cars. It's different than European exotics. I think it sounds great. I'm driving in sport right now which allows me to use the paddle shifters. I think it sounds a little better and the shifts of the eight-speed automatic transmission are a little bit more aggressive. For such a powerful car, Dodge did a nice job of tuning it to be actually pretty drivable. I just took a corner right there and the [00:01:30] steering offers you satisfying weight to your inputs. It's a little bit of a heavier steering, especially compared to some of the earlier generation Chargers. It's sporty, but it's not crazy. The design of the Dodge Charger is a critical element. That's why a lot of people buy this car, is it gives them that muscle car heritage look. The Hellcat has some special design cues that are also functional. You've got a couple of extra air intakes up front, keeps everything cool and breathing, the air flowing through; a nice spoiler in back [00:02:00] that helps keep the aero, and the downforce keeps you on the ground. The HID projector headlights really pop, especially at night, and in back you've got the LED taillights that spread out wide across the back end of this car like some of the great Chargers of the past. This car rolls on 20-inch black wheels with a spiderweb design. I think they look good. They're kind of low-key, which I think is great.
FCA is setting a five-year strategy: Here's how the last one played out
Thu, May 31 2018We're slightly more than four years removed from Sergio Marchionne last five-year plan for FCA, a tell-all where the Italian-American automaker divulged its plans for the 2014 through 2018 model years. It was a grand affair, where Sergio told FCA investors that all was right in Auburn Hills, Alfa Romeo and Maserati were making comebacks, and the fifth-gen Dodge Viper received a mid-cycle refresh. You can read every last one of those past predictions right here. We're on our way to Europe to see Sergio's sequel, coming out Friday straight from FCA's Italian headquarters. (Bloomberg reports a plan to expand Jeep and Ram globally, combine Alfa Romeo and Maserati into a single division for an eventual spinoff, and downsizing Fiat and Chrysler. Also, EVs.) But before we arrive in Italy and find out exactly what Marchionne has planned for 2019 through 2023 as his last act as CEO, let's take a minute to tally up the results of his last term based on the same scoresheet we used in 2014. Now, we're only five months into 2018, so much of this — including vehicles like the Ram HD and Jeep Grand Wagoneer — could still debut this year. For those, we'll mark things TBD. We're not going to draw any conclusions or make any objectionable remarks. We're simply going to let the stats speak for themselves.
