I bought this truck several months ago as an owner retained salvage from the previous owner. I was given a clean title which is what comes with this truck which is what is seen in the picture. However, if you re-register this truck in CA it will come back as a salvage. If you registered this in another state and it will remain a clean title but, it will still show on the Car Fax report that it was a total loss in CA if you ever go to sell it. I am disclosing this so whoever buys this and registers it as a clean title will understand that Car Fax will show different. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS THEN PLEASE BUY A DIFFERENT TRUCK FROM A DEALERSHIP WITH A CLEAN CARFAX AND NOT THIS ONE.

Conditions:

Interior: The previous owner decided to have all the interior recovered in leather and suede. Headliner, dash, door panels, sill panels and pretty much everything. 7/10 rating. Not my cup of tea so don't ask my feelings on this alteration. There was a burn from the old amp wiring on the rear passenger seat/floor as shown in the pictures. Also, the carpet was changed to black wool. Yes, you read that correctly. I am not going to comment. The interior has not been cleaned, but needs to be detailed and there are minor touch-ups needed.

Exterior: The previous owner also felt the need to pay almost $20K to change the paint color on the entire truck. This was done professionally at a reputable shop with Sikkens paint. The entire truck was disassembled for this to be done so it was not done half-ass. The original color was black and the new color is a deep black with red metallic flakes that are strong in the sunlight and gives it a sort of purple hue from a distance. All the emblems were replaced new from the Dodge dealership. The paint is very nice and I had it clayed and buffed about a month ago. The body has some scratches, a few minor dings and flaws but, overall 8.5/10 rating.

Drivetrain is untouched with the exception of the K&N Cold Air intake as seen in the pictures. Previous owner had told me he had the transmission rebuilt last year after he tore the center out of the flex plate. He showed me the broken flex plate and the transmission looks really clean and drives just fine. However, I have no paperwork to support what was done and when it was done, but 10/10 rating.

Wheels and tires. These are the stock 22" wheels that come with this truck. There is minor curbing on the passenger side front and rear. The front passenger tire is not the same brand as the rest and is at about 75%. The other 3 are at about 95%. I bought the original jack and tool kit from eBay, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get the spare tire back under the bed. Given the curb scrape and different brand tire a 8.5/10 rating is fitting.

The Salvage:
The previous owner was taking an off ramp and hit a pothole that broke the passenger front wheel off at the hub and sheared the center of the rotor off with it. The wheel folded under the truck and then slid on it into the center island of the off ramp thru all the bushes giving the passenger side small scratches and pulling off all the passenger plastics. PDR (paintless dent removal) was done on the doors, fender and bedside and look perfect. The plastics were wetsanded and put back on. The front bumper had to be reconditioned and repainted and a foglamp replaced. The hub and rotor were replaced aftermarket from PepBoys. The previous owner had an extra wheel and tire which is why the tire is different on the passenger front from the rest. There is a picture of when it was totaled and also of the broken hub/rotor.

The truck runs great, drives straight, and handles fine. No problems that I have found. The amp and woofers are missing in the back and all the wires are there. I have done my best to describe this truck and it is a neat truck and seemingly rare.

So here is your chance to own a REAL SRT-10 Ram for a lot less then all the others. I have this for sale locally also.

Apparently, the Car Fax on here does not show it being salvaged and it shows it being a clean title when the previous owner told me it was a total loss when he sold it to me.
