2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Quad Cab Pickup Truck 4wd **no Reserve* on 2040-cars
Rochester, Michigan, United States
NO RESERVEThis item is a 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 Quad Cab V8Clear Title with 76081 original miles on it This truck ran up until last week, when we started taking apart the motor. It was running and could be driven, but it was blowing smoke from antifreeze in the motor This truck needs a new motor and cannot currently be driven The 4x4 works great Theres nothing wrong with the transmission Had a new radiator installed recently The body has a bunch of misc. scratches and dents *see pics* The mechanic said the problem started with not having the lower fan shroud on it...which was causing the motor to run hot...it overheated a couple times in the past year, but found this out too late When we bought this truck a few years back from a friend, it didn't have the front seats in it, so the current seats are from a newer Dodge truck, and there in pretty rough condition The back fold up seat has a small tear in the passenger side, and is darker than the front seats The chrome rims are missing a couple lugs ( they were like that when we bought it) I think they are bent The drivers door panel is off because the glass came off the track, but that is fixed We only have One key without the key fob **please see pics prior to bidding** This truck is being sold AS-IS. IT'S RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO INSPECT VEHICLE PRIOR TO BIDDINGPlease feel free to email us with any questions. Local Pick up is Recommended, Buyer is resposible for pick-up/delivery |

Dodge Journey gets new $24,895* SE V6 AWD model
Wed, 12 Mar 2014While the Dodge Journey crossover remains largely unchanged for the 2014 model year, there are two new flavors of the seven-passenger CUV on offer: the butch-looking Crossroad, and the SE V6 AWD, pictured right, which makes its debut today. As its name suggests, this new Journey model features the automaker's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and offers all-wheel drive, which, with a starting price of $24,895 (*excluding $995 for destination), reduces the cost-of-entry for an AWD-equipped Journey by $1,800 versus the SXT AWD model. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Are you the Dodge Dart SRT4?
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Dodge has just confirmed that it will be bringing its newest Dart variant, the Dart GT, to Detroit next week, but we're still in the dark about when we'll see a truly hotted-up SRT4 version. But now, by way of the rumormill anyway, we've got at least one proposed, potentially Dodge-based rendering to light our way.
Seen here is what would appear to be a design sketch of the SRT4 Dart. Obviously the image that has surfaced is of rather low-resolution, but there's at least some evidence to support that it may be legitimate. In the original picture, one can just make out the name Tim Doyle in the lower right corner. As it turns out, Tim Doyle's name is also watermarked on the final design image for the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Black & Tan, a model that was shown at SEMA in 2010.
Of course, even if this really is the work of Doyle, there's nothing to say that this image isn't one of a great many potential looks for the future SRT4. In fact, the departure of the cross-hair grille from the Dodge's nose seems like it could be a hard sell, though we do, naturally, dig the sleek hood scoop and the bulked up wheel/tire combination.
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
