For sale is my clean, 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT. The truck is also equipped with the Sport Package and Off-Road Package. I purchased the truck in 2009 in great cosmetic and mechanical condition with a little over 70K miles on it. Since then all routine maintaince has been performed, including transmission flushes, coolant flushes, differential oil and transfer case oil changed, ect ( I have a few of the records saved if wanted). I have used Lucas Oil or Lucas Oil additive in all changes that I have had done and have had very good luck with doing so. Tires were replaced around 104K miles and half roughly 50% remaining. The truck has HID headlights 8000K color. All lights have been switched over: High beams, Low beam, and Fog lights. Also going with the truck is a Hypertech Max Energy Tuner. I originally purchased the Hypertech Fuel Econ Tuner but later had it updated to Max Energy for all of the options available. I still have the original manufacuturer's window sticker which includes more options not stated in this description (see picture). The truck has a 2" leveling kit and was realigned afterwards for better travel and wear. There are no tears in the seats and the truck was never smoked in. Window tint is 20% all around. Overall this truck was very well taken care of and I have done my best to describe it as I know it. If you have any questions at all, please email me. I will have the truck for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction if it is sold.
*Just to clarify... The Vehicle History Report shows a minor accident in the history from last spring. This truck has never been in an accident. A few small paint chips were found from possible hail damage, later to find out from the adjuster it was not hail but most likely rock chips. The claim was cancelled. There are NO dents and the paint was fixed.

Weekly Recap: New bosses try to jump-start Cadillac and Lincoln
Sat, 26 Jul 2014
Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]
Thu, Dec 18 2014Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
Dodge pulls New Girl and The Office stars for new Dart spots
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Dodge is hoping that a heavy dash of humor helps it move some more units of the Dart with a hilarious ad campaign called Don't Touch My Dart. The spots star actors Craig Robinson, best known for his role as Darryl on The Office, and Jake Johnson from New Girl as neighbors and friends playing a game of one-upmanship over Robinson's new car. Johnson is envious of the ride and just wants to touch it.
The ads are pretty funny if you're a fan of somewhat absurdist humor, and Robinson has just the right amount of over-the-top seriousness to really make the commercials work. They have kind of a Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote vibe with Johnson constantly in inept pursuit of what he wants, but he clearly isn't getting it.
The first four spots in the campaign are already online, but according to Dodge this is just the beginning. The company says that it's planning about 24 different versions of these ads in various lengths to play on TV and online. You can check out the ads titled First Scratch, Birdhouse Police Garage Door and Voice Touching below, along with the brand's release about the new ads. There's also a pretty good gag on its YouTube page with Robinson protecting his Dart.
