1978 Dodge W 200 POWER WAGON CREW.   WITH               RARE FACTORY 440 7.2L V-8  Original California truck  An excellent mechanical condition. I always thought this truck was called a D200 But I recently found out that Its a W200 I'm not sure Which one it really is. Because I have so many people tell me different stuff. But any true dodge  truck guy. Would no exactly what it is. Sorry for any inconvenience. So current odometer reads. 53,140  Back in February 2009. I had the transmission rebuilt @ AAMCO Transmissions Odometer reading at that time. Was 41,745   I have  Well over $4000  in work done Since 2008 And only about 15,000 miles Has been added to the truck since that year. More of the major work was done In 2011 Transmission was rebuilt back in 2009   But only 12,000 miles has been put on it Since then. I will try to include all the Photos  the receipts And what kind of work has been done  This truck was used every other weekend  Just to drive around town and  To pick up some from Home Depot And pick up a Christmas tree Nothing very serious   The current miles. 53,140 I do not believe that is  original to the truck I believe that it is Possibly 153,140 The truck has absolutely no oil leaks.  Or transmission leaks It's truly an excellent condition body wise No serious rust anywhere in the body But on the roof in the corners of driver and passenger side Is starting to show some rust That Rust will be included in photos  The body is also very straight and has absolutely no signs of major collision The paint on the truck is definitely starting to show age on the hood and roof Plus it's not the best paint job In the world anyway The bed of the truck has the spray on bedliner Professionally done And looks excellent   The truck also has a towing package And with the 440  7.2L V8 You can definitely haul Some heavy-duty stuff  The truck has Dual gas tanks that are both in working order  All lights and electrical is also in working order on the truck. But passenger-side headlight is starting to get a little Dim  The truck is also missing the original radio Also the trucks in original condition So when you're driving you're going to hear all the squeaks & noises Which would be normal for older truck like this  Oh I almost forgot it has a new Holley carburetor Which will also be included in the receipts The truck just passed California smog Three days ago. The truck is currently on a Plan nonoperational Status. Since 2012 The truck has not been driven much since then Pretty much all the work That has been done to the truck Is still in good working order Because the truck was never really Driven  I recently drove the truck 40 miles One way 80 miles round-trip And the truck had absolutely no issues on the highway Also for anybody purchasing it I have a two month permit That expires at the end of July So the truck can be driven without the current registration There is absolutely no late fees At the California DMV with this truck. Clean California title in my name I have explained this vehicle to the best of my knowledge. This vehicle will be sold as is.  With no kind of warranty  If you have any questions please contact Michael Mitchell  @ 909 287 4425   Thank you                 happy bidding!  An immediate deposit. Of $500 will be required at the end of auction Via PayPal  @MrMitchell909@Gmail.com Rest of remaining balance can be done bank transfer Cashiers check once verified funds are available or Cash in person.

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football

Fri, 16 May 2014

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.

Fiat brand chief reassigned then resigns amid flagging sales

Tue, Oct 13 2015

Jason Stoicevich was replaced as head of the Fiat brand in North America just the other day. He was immediately reassigned to another job within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. But according to Automotive News, Stoicevich quit the new job – and the company altogether – the very next day. The development comes amidst flagging sales for the Fiat brand in America. The introduction of the awkward-looking 500L multi-purpose vehicle has been largely regarded as a sales disaster in the US. Despite having just introduced the new 500X into the growing crossover market, and an overall upward trend across FCA group sales, the Fiat brand's figures have been dropping all year. While the Italian brand's volume has fluctuated from month to month compared to last year's sales, the number of cars its dealers sells on an average day has been firmly in decline. Fiat's downward trend reflects a general tendency in the market towards larger vehicles at the expense of smaller ones. However, the powers that be in Auburn Hills evidently felt that a change of leadership was in order, so it placed Dodge chief Tim Kuniskis in charge of all the company's mass-market passenger-car brands – namely Dodge, Chrysler, and Fiat – and moved Stoicevich to running the group's fleet and small-business operations. Stoicevich remained in charge of the company's California Business Center, but it seems as though he was as dissatisfied with the switch as his superiors were with the performance of the brand over which he presided, and so he apparently elected to step down and leave the company.

Hero gets his truck back better than new thanks to community support [w/video]

Sun, 29 Jun 2014

You ever hear a story and start cringing before you hear the end because you know how it's going to turn out? That could very well have been the case with the story from a few weeks ago in West Valley City, Utah, where a 14-year-old kid stole his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster and took it for a joyride - through a park full of children. But instead it turned into a heart-warming tale of heroism and a community banding together to do what's right... and then some.
Bryson Rowley was that hero who identified the danger and, rather than sit idly by and watch the joyrider potentially run over a child, got into his truck and drove it into the menacing runaway hatchback. The collision caused some $7,500 to his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, but instead of getting stuck with the bill - one which his insurance may very well have refused to pay since the crash was, technically speaking, intentional - his community pitched in a helping hand.
Bryan Ellison, who owns West Valley Carstar with his brother, saw the news on television and wanted to help. So he brought Rowley a rental car, picked up his truck and brought it back to his auto repair shop. People from around the community donated parts, and when all was said and done, some $15,000 of work and upgrades were performed on the Ram that was returned to an overwhelmed Bryson Rowley better than new. Watch the video below for the full story.
