A Rare Hard To Find Mopar Restoration Project or a Daily Driver
Up for sale is my 1977 Dodge W200 Power Wagon Snow Comander. This truck had been a township plow truck all of its life. This truck has only 70,500 original miles on it.(pic).This would be an perfect restoration project or a daily driver plow truck. This truck came from factory with snow plow and its own hydraulic power for plow control. Hydraulic pump is in great working condition. The plow goes up, turns left to right, but sometimes it wont go down. I think the control valve block may have a broken spring in it but, its all complete. The truck is all stock from factory with the 360 V8 727Auto Trans, Hi and low Lock transfer case. The factory description tags are still on the inside of the hood. Front axle does not have lock out hubs on it.Truck runs and drives great. The brakes are in great working order. Power steering is amazeing in it.. This truck is mechanically sound.
Now for the body and interior. The interior is all there and is in really decent shape. The dash its self is mint. All the plow and truck lights all work. Wiper and washer fluid even work. Dome light works when door opens. Stock radio. The stock alt guage does work but does has working aftermarket. The fuel guage doesnt work. The seat is not tore up but the seat cover is. The floor has rust and some holes but is fixable. The doors and hinges are real tight windows go up and down great. The inner fenders are great (pics) fenders have little rust, rockers are rusted(pic) The roof and hood and the grill and front bumper are in great shape. The truck has a real sraight body line. The bed can be saved. The rear underside of the bed is rusted. The railes need the be replaced. The tail gate holds the bed straight.. The rear DMI bumper is shot. The rims are off a 99 dodge truck. I have 3 of the stock split rims. Tires are pretty good yet. This is awsome truck to rebuild. These old Comanders are scarce and are getting harder and harder to find.
I have tried to descibe this truck the best I can but if you have and questions feel free to call Matt @815-878-3051. I have a clear IL title in hand. This will be a local pick-up only. Haul it or drive truck home. c.o.d payment only.
Thanks

2013 Dodge Dart GT
Mon, 16 Dec 2013My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.

Chrysler recalling 644k more Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs over brakes
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Early last month, we reported on Chrysler issuing a preemptive, proactive recall for about 25,000 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. The issue revolved around a brake system that wasn't causing any actual problems, but delivered an unsatisfactory brake feel, so Auburn Hills called in a good 25,000 of SUVs around the world, including 18,700 in the United States.
Now Chrysler, having apparently determined that the brake problem on its sport utes is actually much bigger than it initially realized, has drastically broadened the scope of the recall. As a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for precisely 655,354 examples of the Grand Cherokee and Durango, covering the 2011 through 2014 model years. In addition, Chrysler is recalling 42,380 units in Canada, 21,376 in Mexico and 159,685 overseas.
The problem which Chrysler found revolves around the brake booster, whose center shell has been found to be subject to corrosion, allowing water to get into the brake system. That water in turn could freeze, preventing the brakes from working as well as expected.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.
