1946 Dodge Power Wagon

Odometer Reading 42,800
230 Flat Head Straight Six, Motor starts runs and Idles perfect.
Shifts in to all gears low and high.
PTO winch works and has been used.
Parking brake works
All original 6volt system and everything works and charges.
Paint is old but in fair condition
Tires are old but hold air
Wood bed has been removed and replaced with steel bed
Interior is in decent condition.
Gauges work but need restoration.

To sum this truck up I would say all Original (except bed) No missing parts. Runs and Drives great and perfect candidate for restoration.

I own a restoration shop and this truck has gone through 2 owners since I have had it in my shop. The first brought it to me wanted to completely restore it and he could not come up with the money (made a rash buying decision). The second guy bought truck from the guy with intent to completely restore as well. We started the process and he had family emergency and had lost a lot of money due to his situation. So here the truck sits. I would love to do restoration but have more work that my shop can get done as it is. So that is the back story on the truck. I personally drove this truck 28 miles when we original owner bought truck and have driven it around to get parts and paint since, just to keep it running. It is a great candidate for restoration but I am not willing to cut corners or repair and restoration so now it is for sale. If someone would like to purchase truck and have my shop restore the truck I am willing to quote price but keep in mind we do award winning cars and trucks not "cheap in and out work". Please feel free to call at (956)607-4471 or email at bibb86@yahoo.com with any questions.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close. I can arrange transportation but can not quote shipping prices. Will deliver personally within 50 miles

All-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT confirmed by EPA website

Thu, Oct 27 2016

The US Environmental Protection Agency accidentally confirmed the upcoming Dodge Challenger GT by posting fuel economy figures for the all-wheel-drive variant of the muscle car. According to FuelEconomy.gov, the Challenger GT, which will come with the 3.6-liter V6 when it's released, is rated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the vehicle a combined rating of 21 miles per gallon. Those figures are slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Challenger with the same engine, which gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. While previous reports indicated that Dodge is planning to release the all-wheel-drive Challenger GT sometime in 2017, the automaker hasn't confirmed the vehicle. (Mopar's all-wheel-drive concept from last year's SEMA Show is pictured above.) With the EPA putting out the car's official fuel economy figures, the all-wheel-drive muscle car is definitely coming, and should be here before the entire Challenger lineup gets its expected redesign in 2018. And yes, we're still hopeful that the so-called Challenger ADR we saw in spy photos means we'll see all wheel drive and Hellcat power. Because Hellcat everything. Related Video:

What's the deal with Chrysler demanding colleges crush their Vipers? [w/video]

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

Students and teachers at a Washington community college are up in arms following an order from Chrysler that it must destroy the pre-production Dodge Viper that was donated to the school's automotive technology program ten years ago.
The Viper in question is said to be the fourth off the production line, based on its VIN, and has had its emissions controls disabled, allowing its ten-cylinder engine to produce 600 horsepower, according to a report from Yahoo! Autos. As one of the first Vipers ever produced, the school's AT instructors claim it could be worth $250,000 in a museum, while a local news report purports that Jay Leno once tried to purchase the car, but the sale was prevented by Chrysler.
As pointed out by our friends at Autobytel, though, there are a lot of things in this story that don't quite add up. Immediately noticeable from the news report embedded below - which shows the car at South Puget Sound Community College - is that the car in question is not a 1992 model. When the Viper went on sale in 1992, it was only available as an RT/10 with a (flimsy) soft top, like the red car shown above. But the car featured in the report from KING5 News (inset image) is clearly a hardtop Viper GTS, which didn't enter production until 1996. And even if, as reported by a local newspaper, the hardtop featured is a prototype, it doesn't explain the lack of another iconic feature of the first Vipers - their distinctive side pipes. This kind of pokes holes in the school's argument that this is the fourth Viper to ever roll down the line. At best, this appears to be a pre-production Viper GTS.

Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

Mon, Dec 22 2014

With less than two weeks until 2014 takes its final bow, anyone and everyone is looking back on the past 50 or so weeks to see how they stacked up. For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... Scroll down to see the rest of this year's most searched for automakers, and then head into Comments and let us know if you're surprised by any of these. This content is hosted by a third party.
