Up for bid is a: 1966  DODGE A100 Pickup Truck  with a PERFORMANCE 270 Mopar Clifford 6=8 Headers.  This is the RARE 3 Window Version (the super stock truck used for the Promotional Little Red Wagon).  This Original California Barn Find Was bought by a friend Tony in the 1990's (where it was used on a ranch in California) with plans of turning it into a Little GREEN Wagon, opting for the Original 6 cylinder to keep it stock, but add performance.  Extensive mechanical work was done on this low miles truck to have it not only be like when new but to be fast and drive like new.  Have receipts, This truck runs and drives GREAT!  All body work was done by Chuck Morris who has had his work shown in Hot Rod Magazine,  with some slight customizations eliminating vertical seam lines at rear and at the top of bed walls.  1n 2006 The truck was ready to have the exterior painted and I would complete by adding Firestone Redline tires (made by Coker) Then the interior and replace body & trim and bumpers with either NOS Mopar parts or restored original parts, Once the truck was in my hands it would hit the streets of Malibu and be driven very lightly as it was used for promoting the SJOBECK Malibu Brand of Mens Denim (an international fashion Brand).   The final details has been a slow work in progress,  preferring to only replace  original parts with  original NOS parts, so there is still minimal work to do to finish the job.  or just drive it as it is and get tons of attention and thumbs up everywhere you go,  Has Its original Sun visor posts restored and a new headliner by Acme ( I could not find OEM material on these.  Has the Super stock seats redone with a grey matched material and they look factory,  will need a speedo cable, and a pedal pad,  rubber floor mat as well a new paint to make it show as the painter did poor prep work in some areas and it did not grab in the bed and some other areas, but still looks great from ten feet.  all Pictures are current except for 1 that was shown online in the Iowa Hawk and also was shown at Fast Eddies website and on The Hundreds Streetwear clothing brand website as well.

Has its original Owner Card from the Chrysler corporation with vin number and specs on it and comes with current registration and a clean title! The Truck has Original California Blue and Yellow plates, it was turned to a commercial truck so the plates were changes sometime in 1970's.

The NEW OLD STOCK:  OEM Red tipped Wipers, arms & bezels, Washer sprayers, outside Door handles, turn lens brake and dome lens lights are OEM NOS as well as OEM NOS Back up/ plate chrome & lights,  OEM NOS headlight Bezels as well as OEM NOS turn signal switch  as well as Horn button, as you may know these parts are so Expensive when and if you can ever find them.  Now it is time for someone to enjoy this truck that I have kept in the Garage and driven under 6 thousand miles since 2006,  Please feel free to ask me any questions by calling 949-981-3690  Also Have more pictures apron request!  Since this truck is almost 50 years old  is being sold as is and sale will be final.  Thank you and happy Bidding!

Mopar unveils Dodge Challenger Drag Pak [w/video]

Sat, Jun 27 2015

Dodge is going drag racing, and it's doing it with an all-new version of the Challenger for NHRA's Sportsman class. FCA's Mopar parts and performance arm announced the new Challenger Drag Pak Friday, showing off a version with a 354-cubic-inch (that's a 5.8-liter, by the way), supercharged V8 and a 426-ci (7.0-liter), naturally aspirated V8 – both Hemis, of course – that can get the big coupes through the quarter-mile in "the eight-second range." While the two engines deliver similar performance, at their base, they're quite a bit different. The supercharged model uses a cast-iron block, while the 426 has aluminum for both the block and head. That said, both models get customized engine calibrations, and are mated to unique, race-spec automatic transmissions. But drag racing is about far more than just outright power. Mopar significantly updated the four-link rear suspension, adding a four-inch rear axle from Strange Engineering, along with an aluminum, nine-inch third member, while the rear-axle housing has been strengthened in general. Both the rear shocks and front struts can be adjusted for rebound and compression, too. Lightweight 15-inch wheels, meanwhile, are shod in super-sticky Hoosier drag radials, with nine inches of tread in back and 4.5 inches in front. The new Challenger Drag Pak should run the quarter-mile in "the eight-second range." In the cabin, there's an NHRA-spec roll cage, a Racepak gauge cluster, and a handsome pair of Sparco racing seats. Outside, supercharged models get blue decals, while naturally aspirated varieties get black stickers, although there's more to the new Challenger dragster's exterior than just its decals. Mopar tweaked the big-scoop hood, promising it's easier to get up to check on the engine, and the designers also added trailer tie-down straps in both the front and rear. While the dragster was the big news today, Mopar officials also announced the two enhanced Scat Pack kits for both the Dodge Charger and Challenger R/T. The 5.7-liter Hemi models gain an extra 56 horsepower and 30 pound-feet of torque in the Scat Pack 2 thanks to a new cam, valve springs, pushrods, and gaskets. The Scat Pack 3, meanwhile, adds 75 hp and 44 lb-ft, on top of the gains from the lower packages. That should be perfect for drivers who wish to snort in the face of their SRT 392-driving friends. The third stage adds a ported cylinder heads, as well as high-flow manifolds and catalysts.

Dodge Dart pushed toward the grave with simplified lineup

Tue, Apr 12 2016

FCA announced a while back that the Dodge Dart and its Chrysler 200 half-sibling are on the way out due to lack of interest. The 2016 model year will be the Dart's last, and Dodge has just reconfigured the lineup mid-year to lower (relative) pricing and streamline ordering. Streamlined is a nice way of saying there will be fewer choices, with three models (down from five) and limited customization beyond choosing the paint color. The odd thing is that the Dart continues to offer three different engines. And while the prices of the individual models have decreased, the former SE base trim is now gone. That means an early-2016 Dart was available for as little as $17,990, while the late-2016 Dart starts at $18,990. For that sum you get the new base model, the SXT Sport, which replaces the SXT and comes with the 2.0-liter Tigershark four-cylinder (160 horsepower, 148 lb-ft of torque) and a six-speed manual; a six-speed automatic is an available option. Standard equipment includes normal entry-level car stuff, black cloth upholstery, 16-inch wheels, and grille shutters that help improve fuel economy. The SXT Sport can be dressed up with one of three different appearance packages; Chrome adds bright accents to parts including the grille and door handles, Rallye has a black grille and a touring suspension, and the Blacktop package makes pretty much everything on the exterior black and includes a sport-tuned suspension. All three packages come with bigger wheels, too. From there it's on to the new Dart Turbo, for $20,490. It comes with the 1.4-liter turbo four (160 hp, 184 lb-ft of torque) and comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. This is supposed to be the model for enthusiasts, which is how Dodge is selling the switch to manual-only. Ditching the disliked dual-clutch automatic that was previously offered with this engine doesn't hurt. This engine was also used in the former Aero model, as it's the most fuel-efficient in the lineup. The Turbo gets the Rallye appearance stuff and a different hood. At the top is the Dart GT Sport, starting at $21,900. It has the 184-hp, 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder and a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. This is the one with features, including a power driver's seat, the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment unit, digital reconfigurable gauges, dual-zone auto climate, keyless start, and a rearview camera. The latter-part-of-2016 Dart will be available in eight colors.

Dodge Viper production to end after 2017

Tue, Jun 21 2016

We can't say we're surprised, but we're still saddened to report that the Dodge Viper will not live on past the 2017 model year. It's had a solid 25-year run, though, and that's worth celebrating. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles does just that for the Viper's final model year, with five special editions (some of which seem less special than others, admittedly): The 1:28 Edition ACR, GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, VoooDoo II Edition ACR, Snakeskin Edition GTC, and Dodge Dealer Edition ACR. Instead of running through what makes each of these 2017 Vipers special, we'll direct your attention to the press release below and the images above. All but the Dodge Dealer Edition commemorate memorable Viper models of the past 25 years, and the GTS-R is probably the pick of the litter with its classic blue-on-white paint scheme. Unless you prefer to err on the side of gaudy, in which case Dodge has you (and your car) covered with Snakeskin Green. If none of these special-edition Viper models strikes your fancy but you'd still like to park a 2017 Viper in your garage, fret not. Dodge is still offering its "1 of 1" customization program for the Viper's final year of production. Finally, instead of dwelling on the past, even when that past is as exciting as the Viper's, let's choose to look to the future with the only logical question left unanswered: What's next?
