1993 Dodge W250 Ram Cummins 4x4 Longbed Auto on 2040-cars
Zanesville, Ohio, United States
This is a 1993, last year of first gens, Dodge Ram w250 LE with 5.9 12 valve cummins. It is an automatic transmission. It is 4 wheel drive, and operates as it should. I have owned truck for about a year and I primarily use it around the farm and for firewood. I bought a 2014 ram and trailer for firewood and am not going to have use for truck so decided to sell. Truck was previously owned by older gentleman, he passed away and truck sat for about 2 years before wife decided to sell. It had never left the county it was bought in until I bought it. When I bought it, I had new tires put on it all the way around, stock size, and they currently have 3,000 miles on them. I had new drum brakes put on back, I don't know if they need bled or what, but the ABS light stays on and my dad recently drove truck and says brakes are "soft." I haven't had a problem and it always stops for me, but I want to tell all i know so there is no confusion of what you are bidding on. I had transmission flushed and new filter and fluid. Oil has been changed recently with new filter. I had new steering shaft put on because was a little loose and is tight with no problems now. Newer battery. 4x4 system works excellent, had a custom shaft for transfer case built with bigger splines because was slipping. Lock in hubs, both good shape. I put on a seat cover. Has aftermarket cd player, not a cheap one. Paint is not perfect, some chipping and scratches. I had inside of cab sprayed with bed liner spray. I have most of interior trim, but it is not installed. Does not have anything but bed liner on cab ceiling. i may or may not have transfer case shift knob. A/C works excellent. Heat works. Exhaust is broke in places and has holes, definitely not perfect, if you care Cruise did work before new steering shaft, but steering wheel is not centered so don't know if it could be because of that. There are some surface rust spots around rear fenders and around rocker, but i had to look hard to find rocker spot. Please see pics, i took as good of ones as i could. Does have bed liner in bed, but bottom of bed is peeling, and there is a rubber matt in it anyway. Does NOT have gooseneck or brake controller. I have some extra stuff for it that I will include. I have most of interior trim, some of hubcaps, a new chrome grille, rubber flooring that i don't know how to install. New shocks i never got around to putting on. New lugs. New front marker lights. Thats what i ca think of but i will include all i have for this truck. I did list exact mileage but that may go up if necessary, but will not go over 132,000. I drove truck this past weekend about 600 miles and had no problems. It does pretty good on fuel mileage, but i can't give an exact number as i never check. I'm not sure what else to say, but please feel free to ask any questions and i will answer them as best i can.
It is really a good running truck. You are welcome to check it out in person anytime. You are welcome to drive it once you win auction and if you feel i have been deceptive, you will not be obligated to buy, but that is not an opportunity for you to negotiate price. I will offer to next highest bidder and re-list if needed. You can email me your phone number if you would like to talk, just do not want to put mine on here for scammers. Please check out my other auction of a huge dodge truck dealer sign, i don't know if i listed it in wrong place but no one is looking at it and its shocking. Thanks. |

Stellantis will enter joint venture with Samsung SDI for EV batteries
Tue, Oct 19 2021SEOUL — South Korean battery maker Samsung SDI Co Ltd and global automaker Stellantis NV have agreed to jointly produce electric vehicle (EV) batteries for the North American market, a person familiar with the matter said on Tuesday. Samsung SDI, an affiliate of South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics, already has EV battery plants in South Korea, China and Hungary, which supply customers such as BMW and Ford. "The two companies (Samsung SDI and Stellantis) have struck a MOU (memorandum of understanding) to produce EV batteries for North America," the person with knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The source spoke of condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. The person said the location of the battery joint venture is under review and will be announced later. In July, Reuters reported that Samsung SDI may build a battery plant in the United States, citing a company source. South Korea's Yonhap news agency earlier reported the two companies plan to build a factory in the United States, citing industry sources. Samsung SDI and Stellantis did not have immediate comment when reached by Reuters. Stellantis on Monday struck a preliminary deal with battery maker South Korea's LG Energy Solution (LGES) to produce battery cells and modules for North America. Shares of Samsung SDI were up 2.6% as of 0300 GMT, versus a 0.6% rise in the KOSPI benchmark index. Dodge CEO and Gas Monkey Garage dissect the 10-second Challenger Hellcat
Fri, 11 Jul 2014So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. However, you have to watch film to see just how quick it actually goes. Scroll down to see a classic example of American muscle drag racing against its modern legacy.
2013 Dodge Charger AWD Sport
Tue, 29 Jan 2013We won't beat around the bush: The all-wheel-drive Dodge Charger is not a brand new car. This generation launched in 2011, AWD models and all. But for 2013, Chrysler has added an optional sport package to the AWD model, available with both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the sweet, sweet 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The upgrades for this new sport pack are mainly cosmetic; a gloss black grille, new 19-inch alloy wheels and body-colored rear spoiler make up the list of exterior changes. Inside, there are new sport seats and paddle shifters, and the eight-speed automatic transmission has been reflashed for better performance.
But because vehicles like the Dodge Charger mainly stick out in our minds as being rear-drive bruisers, Chrysler wanted to give us the opportunity to test out the LX platform's foul-weather prowess. And perhaps no place more appropriate to test such a system was way up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the dead of winter.
