1989 Dodge LE 250 (W-250) 4x4 Sno-Commander Series with factory Meyers C-8 Snowplow with factory controls and light kit, custom insulated highrise campershell, with cab over compartment and heater(attached to engine cooling system) with remote controls in the cab,411 rears,Drawtite receiver hitch(8,000 lbs. trailer wt.),Many spare parts such as New Hubs(still in the box),plow parts, bulbs for all lites, etc. I am the original owner and purchased the vehicle new in 1989 from Chrysler,I still have the original bill of sale and vin. sheet. There were only 243 of this vehicle produced by Chrysler,it was the first year of E.F.I.,pre-power wagon of the 90's. The vehicle has not been worked much since 1997,when I sold my farm in New Jersey and moved to Nevada,it has made four trips across country since then, with no problems. Started restoring it then with the intent of working it when I retired, but unfortunately I became disabled last year and it's no use to me now. I would like to see it go to someone who would appreciate the work and care I've given it and not just run it into the ground, for it's a rare breed and they will never make one like it AGAIN.I would like to see it go to a GOOD home, for it's been good to ME,and never let me down over the years, hopefully it can do the same for someone else. Serious Inquires ONLY-PLEASE. Contact# 702-638-0075,please leave a message and I will return within 24 hrs. I would prefer CASH as payment when the vehicle is purchased, but I have set-up a Pay Pal account for e-bay regulations. I'm selling it AS IS, off the lot, and transport and costs there of will be up to the purchaser to handle and pay for. Thank You,Hope it will make you as happy as I am to have owned it.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango SUVs recalled over brake feel
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Chrysler has announced that it is recalling over 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from several markets over concerns about brake feel under hard braking. The affected models are from the 2012 and 2013 model years, although the actual dates of production aren't available. 18,700 are in the US, while 825 are in Canada, 530 are in Mexico and a further 5,200 outside of North America.
According to a statement, Chrysler was informed of the issue by a component supplier for the Ready Alert Braking system, which primes the brakes in anticipation of an emergency stop. A component in the system was restricting the flow of brake fluid too much.
As Chrysler is quick to point out, the way the brakes functioned was in compliance with regulations and there are no reported cases of drivers losing braking power. Instead, the issue rests with what Chrysler calls a pedal feel that "was not consistent with customer expectations." So it would seem Chrysler is being proactive and fixing a problem not because there's a legal issue at work, but simply because it doesn't feel the way the manufacturer wants it to. Well done.
