1978 Dodge Warlock, runs and drives, 318/auto/2WD, 3.23 rear gears. Cop/Taxi wheels. Engine does smoke a little and has low oil pressure at idle. Engine is from a 1969 Dodge Polara. I've put about 50 miles on it since I've had it. The tag is a year and a half out of date and the title is signed and notarized by the previous owner. The truck looks good from a distance, but it has rust in the wheel wells, lower doors, cab corners, and some in the bed. There is a big dent in the left front fender and right door. Both bumpers are bent. The interior is nice with the exception of the seats need recovered and no carpet. They are the hard to find bucket seats. The gold pinstriping is all there on the inside, but the outside of the truck has been repainted and has no pinstriping. It runs and drives ok, but I haven't put too many miles on it since it isn't tagged, so I would recommend bringing a trailer. The brake pedal goes almost to the floor, but still stops good. The shifter linkage has some slop too. The speedometer and wipers don't work either.

Indications of 825 hp and emissions issues for Hellcat called 'speculation' by Chrysler
Tue, 16 Sep 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is probably one of the hottest cars of the moment mostly because of its insane, 707-horsepower supercharged V8. However, there are conflicting reports coming out that the powerplant might be having problems with its emissions compliance and may be capable of even more power.
Jalopnik says that an unnamed source within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles told it that the Hellcat was having problems meeting emissions standards at its 707-horsepower tune. The person claimed that the automaker has been testing the V8 with different types of sensors, possibly to make it a bit cleaner in the future. Autoblog spoke to SRT spokesperson Dan Reid, and he said about the claimed poor emissions, "It's totally speculation."
The source also claimed that the Hellcat had been dynoed at a monumental 825 horsepower, internally. Based on the other rumor, though, it's hard to imagine the engine being emissions compliant like that. Autoblog also asked Reid about this speculation about more power and was told, "They are totally speculating about that."
SRT partners with Bondurant for performance driving classes

Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
