78 dodge d100, this has been my daily driver for the last 3 years and it runs good. 225 slant six with the manual overdrive transmission. Gets good mileage for an old truck.Powe steering, manual brakes, NOS am/fm 8 track stereo, chrome door mirrors, rear chrome bumpers, 15 x 7 inch styled road wheels, newer tires. I would trust this truck to drive anywhere it is not perfect however. The bad, rust in the floor boards, has an oil leak somewhere under the hood but not a major concern, the wipers stopped working last month, the wiper motor is fine just the little plastic clip came off of the arm that connects to the wiper motor. Odometer shows 59,000 but i doubt that is actual. All the gauges work however the speedometer is not acurate. Good truck, needs a floor mat or carpet. Thieves relieve Detroit-area Dodge dealer of $70,000 in SRT wheels
Tue, Apr 26 2016Okay Mopar fans, this won't be easy to read. A video, which has since been made private, popped up over on Reddit's Cars subreddit over the weekend and detailed the aftermath of a massive wheel heist at a metro Detroit dealership. Thieves broke into Sterling Heights Dodge and made off with at least $70,000 worth of wheels and tires. The thieves ignored the V6 models and instead targeted Hellcat, SRT392, Scat Pack, and R/T versions of the Charger and Challenger. The poor muscle cars were left sitting on blocks, with the voice behind the video saying the treatment led to underbody damage. We only counted 12 cars, but the person shooting the video said thieves targeted 14 vehicles. That works out to about $5,000 in wheels per vehicle. We've reached out to Sterling Heights Dodge general manager and the Sterling Heights Police Department for comments. We haven't heard back yet, but we'll be sure to update this post with any additional information. Oh, and if you're in metro Detroit and perusing Craigslist for a new set of alloys, we'd advise against buying Dodge wheels for the next few weeks. They might be hot. Related Video:
Dodge, Hyundai crowdsourced-funding sites deemed successes

This idea, after all, has given us Kickstarter as well Local Motors, but automakers are starting to use the social platform to sell more cars (or just drum up a little PR). Both Dodge and Hyundai have used "crowd-funding" recently, and while Automotive News is reporting that neither has racked up big sales with this gimmick, both automakers are pleased with the attention.
For Hyundai, it teamed up with website Motozuma.com to help customers crowdsource money for a down payment, and the automaker matched this amount up to $500. Last year, this helped Hyundai sell an extra 1,600 units, a fraction of its total 2012 sales. That figure is far larger than Dodge fared with the Dodge Dart Registry - it netted only two sales and a small number of individual options. This registry did help University of Southern California fraternity crowdsource $18,000 to buy a Dart for a local Meals on Wheels, however. Despite the low sales figures, Dodge and Hyundai are considering their crowdsourcing programs a success since it helped them connect with younger buyers.
