It has virtually no rust, and the engine is strong and reliable."

This truck is in very, very good original condition, though it was repainted about four years ago. I bought it a year and a half ago from an older gentleman who only used it with a camper and kept it in a barn when not in use. It has virtually no rust on the body, the engine is strong and reliable. It has vacuum assisted brakes and a hydraulic clutch with a new master cylinder. Like all Camper specials it is a 3/4 ton truck with a heavy duty rear end. I had the radio repaired but it needs a new speaker.  Everything works except the temperature gauge. I put in a heavy duty rubber bed mat because I didn't want to scratch the nearly perfect bed. Sadly I must sell it because I need a truck I can drive in the winter and it would be criminal to take this beautiful old machine out on the salty roads.
It is located in Western Mass where New York, Vermont and Mass come together and you'll need to pick it up or arrange shipping. I'd like a certified check for payment.

Man hits 153 mph on I-75 in Dodge Magnum

Tue, May 19 2015

A man driving in Michigan took his 2005 Dodge Magnum practically to the limit in the wee hours of the morning on May 19 when the Michigan State Police caught him on radar going 153 miles per hour on Interstate 75 near Detroit. The 21-year-old driver was spotted around 3:00 AM, according to The Detroit News. Michigan State Police First Lieutenant Michael Shaw told Autoblog that officers initially saw the man on radar doing 79 mph in a 70-mph-zone, and they started following him. He eventually clocked 153 mph. However, First Lt. Shaw was clear that there was never a pursuit. "Speeding isn't necessarily a reason to put the public at risk," he said. The situation ended rather abruptly, though. The driver pulled off the interstate and behind a building. He remained in the vehicle, and police arrived and arrested him. According to First Lt. Shaw, the man was driving home from work and alcohol wasn't a factor. The Magnum has been impounded, and the driver was charged with reckless driving. Unfortunately, First Lt. Shaw said that he didn't know what engine was in the wagon, but as enthusiasts, we're curious. After all, the 2005 Magnum RT was governed to 130 mph and the SRT8 wasn't unleashed until 2006, which means either the wagon must've been derestricted to hit such high speeds or that police have the year wrong. We'll let you know if we figure that one out...

Dodge offers 100 years of solid advice in new ad

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

This is a cool ad. Dodge, which is celebrating its centennial this year, recruited some of its peers to see what you should and shouldn't do in life. Of course, some are obvious - don't complain, learn from your mistakes and live for now.
Then again, some are less obvious. Some, actually, are downright awesome. Towards the end, each piece of advice is interspersed with clips of Dodge's redesigned Challenger smoking its tires. Really, this ad feels like it'd be worthy of a Super Bowl spot. This commercial's personal nature is really in keeping with some of the big game's most interesting ads, like the Imported From Detroit commercial, the Farmer ad and Maserati's surprise clip from this year's game.
