1965 Dodge D200 440 Engine 727 Automatic Transmission Daily Driver No Reserve on 2040-cars
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
I am selling this 1965 Dodge truck. Was originally a 318 wide block with manual transmission. Now it has a healthy 440 with a 727 automatic transmission. The engine runs strong with a small cam, aluminum intake manifold, headers and a 750 dual feed Holley carb. Wheels and tires are new. Tires are LT285/75R16. It has dual electric fans and a big aluminum radiator to keep it running cool. It also has air conditioning for the summer. Dual batteries, 10 disc cd changer and cb radio. Was converted to a 33 gallon gas tank from a chevy truck. Dual power seats are out of chevy tahoe.
Nevada truck its whole life, very solid, great floors. The interior is in great shape, the paint is fair, the clear is peeling on the top surfaces. All glass is good, windows roll up and down fine. The left door latch sticks at times(maybe 1 out of 10) when closing, just spin the roller and it closes fine. All lights, wipers and washers work. Horn does not work. Bid to own NO RESERVE. High bidder wins it. I will not end auction early. Last bidder gets it. This truck is a daily driver, it runs and drives great. |

Real-life Bravado Banshee from Grand Theft Auto up for sale
Sun, 01 Jun 2014Remember the Bravado Banshee that West Coast Customs built last year to promote Grand Theft Auto V? Given away by GameStop, the woman who won it says she's better off with money to send her two kids to college than with a race car, so now you can steal buy it on eBay.
Based on a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10, every exterior panel was redesigned to match the Banshee, and the red embroidered badging inside won't let you forget it. There's still that V10 up front that can make some kind of racket, and a SEMA-worthy stereo filling the entire trunk to make a different kind of racket. Oh, it's also got hood struts that have crapped out, so you'll notice the hood is held up with a wooden rod.
The auction ends on June 5, and you can make an offer or hit the Buy It Now button and hand over $170,000. Might be time to change the outfit and run a few jobs for some quick cash.
Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
Wed, 29 Oct 2014Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."
