1965 Dodge A100 Pickup Rare W/ Corner Windows And Utility Box on 2040-cars
Chatsworth, California, United States
Hi,
This vehicle has been stored for over 12 yrs by original owner and was sold by his son to me. The a100 was order by owner who was a plumber and optioned for the utility box add on. There are followers of the a100 who say this isnt so and some same yes it was an option. The utility box is well made and graphed in nicely. The latches on the utility box were added on and need to be removed. I've owned this truck for about 1yr and need to part with it. I have changed the front and rear brake hose and front wheel cylinders along with master cylinder. The fuel cell need cleaning and or replacement. It has a bullet proof Inline slant 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual column shift transmission. I have driven the truck and drives great , but does require more TLC and would require some tune-up to make road worthy. The body panel and sheetmetal are solid and straight ,very minimal rust . There is rust on driver side drip rail on roof line needs repair, otherwise the truck is solid. THIS IS A CALIFORNIA TRUCK AND WAS NEVER OUT OF CALIFORNIA. Floor boards are solid and no cancer or rust along with under carriage and suspension. The glove box cover is missing and tailgate is also missing. It has the original BATTERY BOX COVER . Dash is intact and original radio, gauges also intact. This vehicle is auctioned off AS-IS NO WARRANTY AND NO RETURNS ALL SALES FINAL AND BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING/PICKUP. |

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets brace of new videos
Wed, 21 May 2014Yesterday's big announcement focusing on the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat had plenty of stuff going for it - information, pictures and the rabid enthusiasm that always accompanies such an eagerly anticipated reveal. What it was lacking, though, was a proliferation of videos of the new model.
Sure, yesterday's news came with one clip, but today, Dodge has come through with five videos. We've arranged them in what we think will be the most entertaining order, covering the powertrain, before moving on to exterior and interior design, then on to a full CGI dissection of the SRT Hellcat before capping things off with a piece on the non-supercharged Challenger SRT392.
Take a look below for all five videos, then head into Comments and let us know what you think.
2015 Dodge Viper price drops $15k for 2015
Mon, 08 Sep 2014We recently saw updated specs and new trims of the 2015 Viper, but it looks like the folks at Dodge were saving the biggest surprise for last. Prices on all levels of the American sports car are seeing an immediate, across-the-board price cut of $15,000; even 2014 models still remaining on dealer lots.
The new MSRP for the 2015 Viper in its base SRT trim now starts at $84,995, and when the TA and GTS come to the lineup later next year, they start at $100,995 and $107,995, respectively. The move seems like a swing for the fences that might help to quell slow sales.
Obviously, current Viper owners might be somewhat peeved that their investment was just re-priced by the company. However, to assuage some of their concerns, Dodge is giving all fifth-gen owners a certificate worth $15,000 towards the purchase of a new one, which comes in addition to the price reduction.
