350 Chevy motor 350 Turbo automatic/posi Carter 4barrel carb Coated headers LoCar Shifter Speedway Front Axle w/disc brakes Tork thrust wheels Big roomy cab This is a bad looking truck! New brakes, front disc brake. New tires on front. This is a solid truck. Solid cab floor(no rust), solid door/not rusted out. Door closed real nice. The fenders, front and back, are solid not rusted. I've taken pictures of any places that have rust. Mostly inside the bed and outside along bottom of bed. I took the body right off the frame to build. Frame is completely painted. Original solid frame. Body is painted a mottled green to look old. Drives great, inside is comfortable with nice bucket seats. New side windows, other glass is good. Windows roll up and down.lights work, Oil and temp Gage's works. Smooth and solid, stable to drive. Motor runs good but needs to be driven to clean it out(it's been sitting) . Sits high off the ground,strong, good shifting transmission. Real nice solid dependable truck. It's a nice truck my wife likes to drive and that's says it all. |

Redonkulous Dodge Charger is ridin' high

Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?
