For sale is a 2005 (the last year the Neon was made) Neon Srt4 ACR. model. This is one of 211 made in this color and what makes this car one of the most rare is that it is totally unmodified!

It has a turbocharged/intercooled 2.4 L engine producing 230-240 HP depending on where you find the figures. There are 2 sets of wheels & tires that come with the vehicle. This is why there are two different wheels in the pictures of the vehicle. There is the stock set of BBS RX racing Wheels and also a full set of Enkie wheels and tires. The tires are well used, but a lot of miles left in them!

The following information on the ACR package comes from Wikipedia:

This factory competition version included:

  • Wider 16x7-inch (410x180 mm) BBS RX racing wheels with 40 mm (1.6 in) offset
  • Wider 225/45/16 BFG KDW2 tires
  • Lowered ride height (Front: 10 mm (0.39 in) from spring seat lowering, additional 22 mm (0.87 in) through smaller diameter tire; Rear: 23.5 mm (0.93 in) from spring seat lowering, additional 22 mm (0.87 in) through smaller diameter tire)
  • 5 position adjustable performance Tokico Illumina dampers. Proportional compression and rebound damping adjustment is accomplished via multiple oil bleed orifices within the damper.
  • Thicker rear stabilizer bar (19 mm)
  • Stiffer bushings in the rear tension struts
  • ACR embroidered, Viper-styled, racing seats with pass-throughs for a racing harness
  • ACR decals on the bottoms of the front doors
  • Full diameter P205/60R15 spare tire
  • Vehicle Speed Sensor gear changed from 20 tooth to 21 tooth to correct speedometer for different stock tire heights.
  • There were a total of 1,175 SRT-4 ACR’s produced for the public: 225 Flame Red (PR4), 211 Orange Blast (PVK), 306 Stone White (PW1), 433 Black (PX8).

I purchased this car from its original owner in Salt Lake City, Utah with about 42,000 mi on the odometer.  If the driver can keep his foot out of the turbo, the car will get 32 - 34 mpg consistently out on the highway.  The battery was replaced about 400 miles ago and the car starts easily, even in the coldest of weather.  I hope you will excuse the fact that the pictures were taken while the car was not freshly washed.  It was about 15 degrees and I was not able to wash the car!

I am a 65 year old Vietnam veteran and I take pretty good care of my cars and equipment and the previous owner took even better care of it!!  This was my dream car but I can't even afford to drive it anymore.

There is a few accessories that go with the car.  Please email me if you need more information!  If you include your phone number and availability times I will call and discuss it with you.

I am requiring a non-refundable Paypal deposit of $500 within 3 business days of a successful bid and the remainder of the sale price within 10 business days.

I will deliver the car a reasonable distance for expenses (gas, lodging, food) or the buyer can either pick up or make arrangements to ship from Keno, Oregon 97627.

Junkyard Gem: 1994 Dodge Caravan with manual transmission

Tue, Jul 4 2017

The K Platform saved Chrysler from certain doom after the company's 1979 bailout by the federal government, and one of the most successful K-based vehicles was the one that spawned the American minivan craze in 1984: the original Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager. Built all the way through the 1995 model year, these K-Caravans or K-Voyagers could be purchased with a four- or five-speed manual transmission, but just a handful were sold that way. Here's an extraordinarily rare late 5-speed example, spotted in a San Francisco Bay Area wrecking yard. The shifter location is a little awkward, requiring the driver to reach back a bit more than would be the case in, say, a Dodge Shadow (which shared the same powertrain). It's too bad that Chrysler never offered these vans with five-on-the-tree manuals. Even though plenty of Mitsubishi-V6-powered front-wheel-drive Chryslers of the late 1980s and early 1990s were available with manual transmissions (e.g., the Chrysler Laser/Dodge Daytona or the Plymouth Sundance/Dodge Shadow), Chrysler minivan shoppers who wanted a stickshift had to take the four-cylinder engine (either a Chrysler 2.2/2.5 or, in the early years, a Mitsubishi 2.6 Astron). This one has the naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter engine that went into so many Plymouth Acclaims and Chrysler LeBarons. In 1995, it was rated at 100 horsepower, which made for stately acceleration with a full load of passengers. For the 1989 and 1990 model years, a 150-horse turbocharged Chrysler 2.5 with 5-speed was the high-performance minivan setup... and you should let us know if you find a factory-built one. This is only the second example of a manual-trans-equipped 1990s Chrysler minivan I have found in the junkyard (the first was this '93 Voyager), and both vans were lightly-optioned El Cheapo models with cloth seats and hand-crank windows; the manual transmission was a bit cheaper than the automatic in those days. At least this one has air conditioning. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.

Dodge Demon's deliverer? FCA files for 'Angel' trademark

Thu, Aug 3 2017

We've driven the Dodge Demon, and despite its satanic overtones and 840 freakin' horsepower under the hood, the car is actually quite well-behaved. At least it didn't bite our head off or drag us into any sort of inferno. Still, Dodge might be looking to balance its lineup with something with a bit more righteous, as FCA has filed for a trademark of the moniker "Angel."... According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, FCA filed the application on July 17, 2017, and it applies to "Motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, their structural parts, trim and badges." Essentially, that's all the information we have to go on at this point. It could mean that Dodge is planning to further capitalize on the Demon name by creating another variant, or a completely different car. But what's the opposite of the Demon? Could it be a more road-friendly version of the drag-focused Demon? (And wouldn't that just be a Hellcat Widebody with more power?) Maybe it's a performance hybrid, as FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently said that the automaker would electrify half its fleet by 2022. For now, we can merely speculate as to what the Angel would be. And you can, too. Get at it in the comments section, below. And while you're at it, what name do you think FCA should trademark next, and what sort of car would that be?Related Video: Related Gallery 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: First Drive View 37 Photos News Source: US Patent and Trademark Office via FCA Authority Auto News Chrysler Dodge Future Vehicles Performance FCA trademark dodge demon
