I am selling my 2001 dodge neon. It is a great gas saving car. It has 127k miles on it and is driven daily. Everything that was replaced in the past year is as follows, New transmission, (NOT from a junkyard, a brand new transmission ). The transmission now has 7k miles on it. New wheel bearings, struts, tie rod ends, brakes all around, newer tires, muffler, cd player, power steering belt, and a few small things that im sure I missed. The bad is that the hood needs to be painted, and it may have a loos motor mount from what my mechanic has told me. at idle you may here a slight noise but once you start going it goes away, this is not a constant noise, usually only when the car is cold, or when the a/c is turned on, sometimes you can hear it when you crank the car to start it, so the mechanic also said there is a possibility it may be the starter making the noise. Everything works as it should and has been a very good vehicle. Normal maintenance has been done to it every 3k miles, oil, grease, etc. It also has brand new lower control arms, and new front axles. The bad, engine light was on so I took it in, turned out to be a gas cap was bad, I have replaced the gas cap and now the light is staying off. If it comes back on it may need an 02sensor from what the mechanic shop has told me, the price for an 02 sensor is 58 dollars. Also one tire does not match, I got a flat last year and needed a tire fast so had them put on what they had, the tire size is the same, but the tread pattern is different, that is only one tire. Everything on car is nice and works very well, great heat, great a/c. Get in and drive it. Please look at pictures very well, some bubbling is starting at the bottom of the trunk, and slightly around the wheel wells. I also pointed out some clear coat that is starting to fade on the front fender. I am sure I am missing something so please ask all questions you may have, and look at all pictures very closely. underside is clean and all brake lines are also free of rust. This car is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. You must have more than 50 feedback to place a bid, if you do not, please contact me first. Car is to be paid for in person by cash or if you are from out of state then must be paid in full through paypal or a certified check must be mailed to me and car can not leave until funds have cleared. Clean title and car is ready to drive home. The trunklid has a few slight scratches that can be buffed out and the car has some blistering on the bottom of the front door wich you can see in the picture if you look closely. Remember this is a used car so it has normal cosmetic things here and there. Thank you and good luck.

Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?
Fri, 10 Jan 2014On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.
Autoblog's guilty pleasure cars
Tue, Mar 10 2015Guilty pleasures are part of life – don't even try to pretend like you don't have one (or two, or six). In the non-automotive space, this could come down to that secret playlist in your iPhone of songs you'll only listen to when you're alone; or think of that one TV show you really do love, but won't admit to your friends. I've got plenty, and so do you. Going back to cars, here's a particularly juicy one for me: several years ago, I had a mad crush on the very last iteration of the Cadillac DTS. Oh yes, the front-wheel-drive, Northstar V8-powered sofa-on-wheels that was the last remaining shred of the elderly-swooning days of Cadillac's past. Every time I had the chance to drive one, I was secretly giddy. Don't hate me, okay? These days, the DTS is gone, but I've still got a mess of other cars that hold a special place in my heart. And in the spirit of camaraderie, I've asked my other Autoblog editors to tell me some of their guilty pleasure cars, as well – Seyth Miersma, as you can see above, has a few choice emotions to share about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Read on to find out what cars make us secretly happy. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG This decadent convertible is the epitome of the guilty pleasure. It's big, powerful, fairly heavy and it's richly appointed inside and out. It's a chocolate eclair with the three-pointed star on the hood. Given my druthers, I'd take the SL65 AMG, which delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. That output is borderline absurd for this laid-back convertible. I don't care. You don't need dessert. Sometimes you just crave it. The SL line is about the feel you get on the road. The roof is open. The air, sun and engine sounds all embrace you. It's the same dynamic you could have experienced in a Mercedes a century ago, yet the SL gives you the most modern of luxuries. An Airscarf feature that warms my neck and shoulders through a vent embedded in the seat? Yes, please. Sure, it's an old-guy car. Mr. Burns and Lord Grantham are probably too young and hip for an SL65. I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure. Release the hounds. – Greg Migliore Senior Editor Ford Flex I drove my first Flex in 2009 when my mother let me borrow hers for the summer while I was away at college. The incredibly spacious interior made moving twice that summer a breeze, and the 200-mile trips up north were quite comfortable.
Texas cops pull armed suspect from burning car
Fri, Jul 29 2016A high-speed chase through Fort Worth, Texas ended in dramatic fashion earlier this month when FWPD pulled armed burglary suspects from the burning wreckage of their escape vehicle. According to NBC DFW, Fort Worth police were dispatched to Avington Way on the evening of July 16 to investigate reports of a burglary. The burglary victim told police he had arrived home to find three individuals hauling his property out of his house. When he approached them, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him and told him to stay back. Then all three suspects climbed into a silver Dodge Avenger and sped away. FWPD officers spotted the Avenger a short time later on Sycamore School Road and, after the car refused to pull over, the chase was on. Police chased the burglary suspects through the city at speeds approaching 100 mph until the Avenger blew a red light and was t-boned by an oncoming pickup at the intersection of California Parkway and James Avenue. As the pursuing officers closed in on the disabled car, it suddenly caught fire. One suspect bailed out and ran for it, but the remaining two were trapped inside with the flames quickly mounting. Despite the spreading fire and the threat of armed suspects in the vehicle, police officers rushed to pull the men from the wreck. The driver was removed easily, but the passenger was unconscious and trapped behind a crushed passenger door. The scene was caught on the officers' body cameras as they pried the door open with their bare hands. Eventually the officers got the semi-conscious man out of the passenger seat just as the car was completely engulfed in flames. "It was pretty dramatic. We recruit people that can think on the fly, think quickly, and perform under pressure," FWPD Sergeant Marc Povero told WFAA. All three suspects are facing charges for burglary, and the driver was charged with evading arrest.
