This vehicle is a 2000 Dodge neon ES and is MANUAL. It is being sold AS-IS and has NO RESERVE. It RUNS but does NOT drive. With that being said this car is being sold for parts, or as a project car.This car was bought and had no problems, and a new battery. But when I was driving it in the rain one day to work, I spun and hydroplane into a guardrail on the highway so it has a side swiped effect with the doors pinned in on the left side. The left back door does not open, and the left front door only opens if you use a crowbar to pry it open at the top of the door. This car has a NYS inspection sticker that expires july 2013. The car was driven for months after the accident with no problems until recently it starts but wont shift into gear.The car does have some rust which for the most part you can see in the pictures. There is a tiny bit of rust at the front of the hood where it has a tiny bit of paint bubbling, there is rust on right side of the bottom of the door frame and also on the left side of the bottom of both doors. There is rust as seen in some places all along the left side of the car from where the car has been indented and scratched from hitting the guardrail. Besides the left side of the car the over-all exterior of the car has some minor dents and scratches. There is a small dent on the right side of the car on fender. I have a ton of pictures of the car if you want to see them, just send me a message.You must pick up this vehicle or have it shipped/towed within 7 days of the end of the auction unless a date is discussed otherwise. A $500.00 deposit must be paid via Pay Pal within 24hrs of auctions end. Sun, Nov 30 2014The Dodge Viper has muscled its way back into buyers' good graces thanks to a $15,000 price drop across-the-board – and we're sure the extra five horsepower didn't hurt, either – posting a 26-percent year-to-date surge after the September realignment. No longer, uh, snakebitten, Dodge is now allowing dealers to place already-sold orders of the TA 2.0 Special Edition and GTS, both of which come with more goodies as standard than on the 2014 models they replace. The $101,995 TA wears a high performance Aero Package consisting of front lower dive planes, front splitter, competition rear spoiler, a dual-mode suspension supporting 18- or 19-inch matte black wheels on Pirelli PZero Corsa tires, two-piece Brembos rotors with black and orange calipers and performance pads, and a five-mode electronic stability control. We'll pretend to ignore features like a "rear carbon fiber applique" on a hardcore V10 sports car. The $107,995 GTS trim throws in Laguna leather seats as standard, an Alcantara headliner and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon system. It will also be the only model that can be had in Ceramic Blue with black stripes, orange brake calipers and GTS gloss black badging. And that rear carbon fiber applique, since it's apparently quite popular. The Connor Avenue plant where workers assemble the Viper by hand will begin production of the TA and GTS in November, the two models will appear in showrooms in Q1 of next year. Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat's 707 storming horses can be yours for $60k
Wed, 16 Jul 2014We love a good deal on high performance. It's what traditionally makes muscle cars so appealing - you get lots of speed, for not a lot of money. For 2015, Dodge has taken this to its logical extreme, offering its new 707-horsepower, supercharged, V8-powered Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat for just $59,900. For those wondering, that works out to just about $85 per horsepower, which when compared with a typical budget performance car, like the $24,995, 210-hp Volkswagen GTI ($119 per hp), demonstrates the Hellcat's astonishing value.
The information was revealed by a photo (click on the inset image to expand) taken at this week's Portland launch event (our man Seyth Miersma is just now on the ground and will have a full report on the madness that is the Hellcat soon) for the entire 2015 Challenger range, and reveals the Hellcat's price alongside its high-powered competitors from Ford and Chevrolet.
The discontinued 662-hp Mustang GT500 started at $56,000, while the 580-hp Camaro ZL1 starts off at $58K. Indeed, the only muscle car that outprices the Hellcat is the track-focused Camaro Z/28, a car that we're guessing could still wallop the Hellcat on the right piece of track, despite being down over 200 hp.
Fiat Chrysler taps Amazon, Shell execs to fill roles
Fri, Dec 7 2018MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is tapping executives from Amazon and Shell Oil Company with previous automotive industry experience to fill its ranks. CEO Mike Manley said in a letter to employees Thursday that Mark Stewart would join FCA as chief operating officer of North America from Amazon, "a company known for its culture of innovation, and obsession with delivering incredible value to customers." At Amazon, Stewart led teams focused on advanced robotics, artificial intelligence and automation methods. He previously was COO of ZF TRW automotive components supplier. Niel Golightly was named head of global communications. He was most recently Shell's vice president for external relations in North and South America, with a focus on reputation, brand and stakeholder engagement beyond communication strategies.
