this auction is for a 2006 dodge magnum srt8. this has been a daily driven vehicle and been very reliable for some time now. this is the srt8 version of the magnum that comes with the 425hp 6.1 hemi. it has 111k miles on it. the car has great power and stops on a dime. gas mileage is also very good for a larger car with so much horsepower. these are rare and were only made for 2 years. this car has been driven daily and i would say the body is in fair to good condition. it has a few small dings and a few small scratches.....all what you would expect from a daily driven vehicle. the driver front fender has a spot on the bottom where the paint has gotten chipped off. the engine is stock right down to the air intake. the suspension feels nice and feels like it should for this mileage. the brakes feel good and no warped brake rotors. the pads are getting low and will need to be replaced in the next 5-8k miles. the ac blows cold and works very well. a couple of the wheels have some road rash on them, just cosmetic. the tires are in very good shape and were put on about 5k miles ago. the pass front window tint is a little blurry but does not obstruct your view. this car is not a show car,but it is a darned nice driver and will be sure to make anyone a awesome ride.
THIS CAR IS PRICED TO SELL AND SELL QUICKLY! I HAVE SEEN LOTS OF OTHER MAGNUMS SELL FOR FAR MORE HERE ON EBAY WITH MORE MILES. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACKS,YOU NEED TO EMAIL ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. PLEASE NO FLAKES! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. THANKS ANG GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Hackers stole Jeeps in Texas using FCA's internal dealer software
Fri, Aug 5 2016This article has been updated with details on how the thefts were carried out, and with comments from FCA. It seems the news regarding vehicle hacking continues to get worse, especially when it comes to products from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Last year, a Jeep Cherokee in St. Louis, Missouri, was wirelessly hacked from Pittsburgh. Nissan had to shut down its Leaf app because of vulnerabilities. Now, a pair of hackers in Houston, Texas, stole more than 30 Jeeps over a six-month period. The two were arrested by police last Friday while attempting to steal another vehicle. ABC 13 in Houston reports that police had been following Michael Arcee and Jesse Zelay for several months but were unable to catch them in the act until now. The two were using a laptop to connect to and start a vehicle. The thieves were able to access Fiat Chrysler's own DealerCONNECT software. After entering the vehicle identification number, the hackers were able to reprogram the cars' security systems to accept a generic key, according to The Houston Chronicle. Additionally, Automotive News reports that FCA subsequently updated the terms of use for its DealerCONNECT program. These thefts were not related to the UConnect remote hacks from last year. It was this footage that first led the police to Arcee and Zelay. The police began to follow and record the pair. That investigation eventually led to Friday's arrest. Both are charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. In addition, Arcee is charged with felon in possession of a weapon and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. According to ABC 13, Homeland Security is investigating more than 100 stolen FCA vehicles that they believe were hacked using this method. After their theft, the vehicles were brought across the border to Mexico. FCA is currently conducting an internal investigation into the matter. After this article was posted, the company reached out to Autoblog, stating "FCA US takes the safety and security of its customers seriously and incorporates security features in its vehicles that help to reduce the risk of unauthorized and unlawful access to vehicle systems and wireless communications. FCA US has been cooperating with Houston Police Department since they first started the investigation.
Dodge and Jeep recalling 895k SUVs for possibility of headliner fires
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Dodge and Jeep are announcing recalls of a total of 895,000 Durango and Grand Cherokee models worldwide from the 2011 through 2014 model years. There's a possibility that the wiring in the sun visor can short circuit and cause a fire. It specifically affects vehicles built between January 5, 2010, and December 11, 2013, and there are approximately 651,000 of them in the US, 45,700 in Canada, 23,000 in Mexico and 175,000 outside of North America.
Screws that fasten the sunvisor to the headliner may pierce wires in the visor, if the part has been removed or serviced, potentially causing a fire risk. If the wires short circuit, they could overheat and potentially combust. The automakers report three injuries caused by this defect, and according to the investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, "there may be a total of 52 unique fire incidents."
To fix the problem, Dodge and Jeep will inspect the vehicles for suspect wiring, and all of the models, whether damaged or not, will get a new sun visor spacer with a wire guide to stop the possibility of short circuits. According to the automakers' announcement, "this condition is not present in vehicles which have not had the headliner or vanity mirror serviced." They will notify affected owners, and repairs will begin in August.
