Vin Diesel reveals first poster for Furious 8
Wed, Apr 20 2016Vin Diesel unveiled the first poster for Furious 8. The image shows Dom standing on a deserted road with his Dodge Charger with the tagline: "New roads ahead." Diesel's post doesn't offer any other new details about the much-anticipated action film, which is still a year away from theaters. While this image is teasing, we continue to get a better idea of Furious 8's cast. Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's son, has a prominent role in the film, and Charlize Theron plays a villain. Dwayne Johnson also confirmed his return as Hobbs. Plot details still vague, though. An earlier teaser from Diesel hinted that some of the movie might take place in Manhattan, which could be an amazing setting for automotive stunts. The crew has also been filming north of Reykjavik, Iceland, which would be a great locale for off-road action. Furious 8 will hit theaters on April 14, 2017. According to Diesel, part 9 will arrive on April 19, 2019, and Fast & Furious 10 will potentially end the main franchise on April 2, 2021. This content is hosted by a third party. Wed, 18 Sep 2013We're a bit hazy on the styling of this particular donk, which was recently spotted hashing about by HotCarsTV at the Southern Heritage Classic Car show in Memphis. Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. 2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop glosses over performance
Tue, 14 Jan 2014The Dodge Dart is a decent little car. It's honest, basic transportation, and many of us at Autoblog are genuinely fond of the Alfa Romeo-based compact sedan. For 2014, not a whole lot changes in the Dart world, save the addition of this new Blacktop edition that makes its debut here at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's all very simple, this Blacktop package, and doesn't actually alter performance in any way. Instead, buyers are treated to blacked-out exterior bits like 18-inch wheels, the crosshair grille and headlamp bezels. Inside, black/tungsten or black/red cloth seats are available, with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
Adding the Blacktop pack to your Dart SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group will set you back a scant $295, and while it's just an appearance package, it all looks pretty nice to us.
