2005 Dodge Magnum R/t Wagon 4-door 5.7l Hemi Rwd on 2040-cars
Hudson, Wisconsin, United States
I've got a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT Hemi for sale. It's got 130k miles on
it. Paint is absolutely beautiful. Look at the picture looking down the
side of the car, you can see the reflection of the surrounding area like
its a mirror. Paint is gorgeous!
Has 3k miles on brand new tires with lifetime rotation from Tireplus. All new brakes on it as of 4k miles ago (Rotors, Pads, even Parking Brakes). New Plugs 7k miles ago. Has Flowmaster Force II exhaust which was over 700 when new. It's also got an AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake. It also has new Sway bar links on both sides and new lower and upper control arm on the driver side. New Tie rod end and new sway bar bushings. I've got receipts for all the work done to it in the last 5k miles, almost 1800 dollars in parts not including exhaust or the intake. Oil has always been changed religiously with Mobile 1 full synthetic since I owned it and it doesn't burn a drop. Always starts and runs strong and transmission shifts perfectly. It's got a 2 tone interior with black and grey. The seats and part of the door panels are grey and the rest is black. Has a 300C SRT8 Faux Carbon Fiber Shifter Surround. Hemi V8 with MDS (Multi Displacement System) 340hp 390 ft/lbs torque 5 Speed Automatic Power Sunroof Power Windows, Locks, Cruise, Tilt, and AC Heated and Power Driver and Passenger Seats Dual Climate Control 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS Traction Control Front and Rear Sway Bars Limited Slip Rear Differential Aluminum Alloy 18 inch factory rims. Tires only have 3000 miles on them. Body is in excellent shape. Was just fully detailed after taking it out of storage this winter. Polished and waxed. Not one spot of rust on it inside or out. You will not find a car with a more mirror like reflective paint. Absolutely smooth as glass! Just a few rock chips in the front as you'd expect on a car with 130k on it. Interior is in great shape too. Never smoked in. This car runs and drives great. I've spent a lot of money to make sure it was properly maintained and reliable. There are two minor issues with the car. The first is that as of a week ago the 6 disk changer stopped playing CD's. It still functions as a radio but it will not play or eject my CD's. I'm doing some research to see if I can fix it somehow but in case I can't you at least know now. The other minor issue is the hood lift struts don't hold open the hood anymore. They cost about 22 dollars here on ebay but I just have never gotten around to replacing them. Other then that everything functions as it should, the AC is cold and the heat is hot! It shifts through all the gears perfectly and it stops on a dime. I average about 20 mpg with mixed city/highway driving. The minor accident you see on the history report in AZ was the rear liftgate and bumper were backed into and damaged. Both were replaced. No structural damage occurred and as you can see it was way back in 2007. It has a clear title. I do have a lien on the title with my local credit union. Myself and the buyer will go to the credit union, you will pay off whats left on the loan and they will clear the lien. Cash in person would probably work best. Any questions feel free to ask. This is a no reserve auction! |

NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022
Thu, Mar 17 2016The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and virtually every automaker in the US domestic market have announced a pact to make automatic emergency braking standard by 2022. Here's the full rundown of companies involved: BMW, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo (not to mention the brands that fall under each automaker's respective umbrella). Like we reported yesterday, AEB will be as ubiquitous in the future as traction and stability control are today. But the thing to note here is that this is not a governmental mandate. It's truly an agreement between automakers and the government, a fact that NHTSA claims will lead to widespread adoption three years sooner than a formal rule. That fact in itself should prevent up to 28,000 crashes and 12,000 injuries. The agreement will come into effect in two waves. For the majority of vehicles on the road – those with gross vehicle weights below 8,500 pounds – AEB will need to be standard equipment by September 1, 2022. Vehicles between 8,501 and 10,000 pounds will have an extra three years to offer AEB. "It's an exciting time for vehicle safety. By proactively making emergency braking systems standard equipment on their vehicles, these 20 automakers will help prevent thousands of crashes and save lives," said Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in an official statement. "It's a win for safety and a win for consumers." Read on for the official press release from NHTSA. Automakers making the commitment are Audi, BMW, FCA US LLC, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla Motors Inc., Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo Car USA.
Federal grand jury issues subpoenas to U.S. FCA dealers
Wed, Jul 27 2016Despite an attempt to clarify and backtrack, it seems the investigation into Fiat Chrysler Automobile's false sales reporting is picking up steam. According to Automotive News, FCA dealers and regional offices have received subpoenas ordering them to supply documents and testimony to a grand jury in Detroit. Of course, the dealers are objecting to the request. They claim the subpoenas are too broad and would require them to hand over too much personal information, like personal phone numbers of dealer employees going back years. The group wants to make it clear that FCA has clarified its sales reporting and that the issue is with the manufacturer, not dealers. The dealers say that FCA employee records and testimony should be enough. It's rumored that a dealer group is the one that sparked the investigation in the first place. FCA confirmed on July 18 that it indeed was under investigation by a number of federal agencies. Although they've clarified their position regarding sales reporting, the fraud investigation continues full steam. Related Video:
Stellantis expects strike to cost it $795 million in third-quarter profits
Tue, Oct 31 2023MILAN — Automaker Stellantis said Tuesday that the autoworkers strike in North America is expected to cost the company around 750 million euros ($795 million) in profits — less than its North American competitors. The Europe-based maker of Jeep, Fiat and Peugeot reported a 7% boost in net revenues to 45.1 billion euros, with production halts caused by the strikes costing the company 3 billion euros in sales through October. The net revenue boost was due to higher volumes in all markets except Asia. Chief Financial Officer Natalie Knight told journalists that StellantisÂ’ strike impact was lower than the other Big Three automakers due to its global profile as well as some high-profile cost-cutting measures, calculating the hit at around 750 million euros ($795 million.) GM, the last carmaker to reach a deal to end the strike, reported an $800 million strike hit. Ford has put its impact at $1.3 billion. “We continue to be in a very strong position globally and in the U.S. This is an important market for us, and weÂ’re highly profitable and we are very committed to our future," Knight said. “But mitigation is core to how we act, and how we proceed.” Stellantis has canceled appearances at the CES technology show in Las Vegas next year as well as the LA Auto Show, due to the strike impact. Stellantis on Saturday reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers Union to end a six-week strike by more than 14,000 workers at its assembly plants in Michigan and Ohio, and at parts warehouses across the nation. Stellantis does not report full earnings for the third quarter, instead providing shipments and revenues. It said that global sales of electric vehicles rose by 37% over a year earlier, powered by the Jeep Avenger and commercial vehicle sales. North America continued to be the revenue leader, contributing 21.5 billion euros, an increase of 2% over last year, and representing nearly half of global revenues. Europe, the next biggest performing region, saw revenues grow 5% to 14 billion euros, as sales rose 11%. Related video: Earnings/Financials UAW/Unions Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat Jeep Maserati RAM
