1978 dodge magnum, true survivor, little old lady car, i am the 3rd owner, i purchased the car from the granddaughter of the original owner, the original owner owned the car until 2013 when she passed away, the granddaughter got the car and then ended up selling the car to me, it is in great shape for the year, it spent its whole life inside a garage until 2013 which unfortunately it sat outside and i think that is when the dash got a crack in it, when i first saw the car there was no crack in the dash
it has all of its original paint, has never been in an accident, has some rock chips and couple dings here and there but overall a good buff and was would be amazing, the original 360 runs good but could use a tune up there is no rust on the car anywhere, trunk is like brand new, solid everywhere, still has its original stickers and tags, headlight doors work perfectely, all lights and turn signals work great will need tires as they are weather checked and not in good condition to drive on, the spare has never been on the ground still has original jack and tire cover interior is excellent condition but would need a few things to be perfect, all of the dome light lenses are gone except one from being old and brittle and they just fell apart, there are 2 small spots in the headliner about the size of a pencil eraser that are hold looks like a snag, will post pictures of those, the heater controls lever which controls hot and cold is bent and does not move seats are near perfect no wear, carpet is like new, rear package tray is a little faded,8 track player works good, all lights and gauges work good, door panels are very nice |

Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing
Tue, Nov 1 2016Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. We've assembled a spreadsheet on Google Docs that offers an easy to browse comparison of the different stats assembled by the Michigan State Police, and divided the vehicles between standard V6-powered sedans, high-performance sedans (EcoBoost and V8 models), and SUVs. You can check it out here. Related Video:
Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn
Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
