For the CAR COLLECTOR that has everything or if you’re just looking for something “DIFFERENT”.... here it is!!! .….READ ON!!!....

You are looking at a custom built 1929 Dodge personal limousine.

BODY: This is an ORIGINAL Dodge Brothers ALL STEEL sedan that’s been transformed into a personal limousine. There is a custom wood frame for the top of the driver’s section and a hide-away compartment for the frame right above & behind the driver’s seat. Car is solid and all doors shut well. Paint has flaws (see pics), however is of great driver quality. Beautifully etched rear and wing windows.

DRIVETRAIN: Car has been updated with a 12v electrical system and runs a Pontiac 400ci, HEI distributor, and an automatic transmission. It starts and runs, however, it would probably be a good idea to go through everything since build was done back in the early 80’s.

SUSPENSION: The smooth ride gives thanks to a mustang II front end with a power rack & pinion and front disc brakes.

INTERIOR:  Passenger compartment is covered with VERY comfortable blue velour. It has a glass window that separates the driver compartment from the passenger compartment.  Video & audio is 80’s nostalgia at its finest!!!...redo or upgrade to your liking. Driver’s side is a blue vinyl “wrap around” style seat & tilt column.

Get this ready for Winter Ball season, Weddings, Proms, Parades, etc…!!! Your options are endless!!!

To sum it up, this Limousine turns heads everywhere it goes!!! It’s been updated with enough stuff that you can drive with piece of mind, and in comfort once refreshed. Make money with this one and let it pay for itself!!!.....Especially since I am listing this at a very low reserve….That’s right……a VERY

LOW RESERVE!!!

I am selling this for a friend of mine who is not computer savvy. Please ask questions BFEORE you bid and I will do my best to get the answers for you.

I have used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers Ph#1-800-826-1083) to ship a 66 Nova to NY. Price from Hawaii to NY was about $2400.00. The same company has shipped international for many of the cars that I have sold outside of the US. Their web site is:

http://www.dasautoshippers.com/global_auto_transport.html

If you only need shipping to California, I have used Horizon Lines. They are the only ones that automatically ship in a container at no extra charge. Cost is about $1100.00 Their web site is:

http://www.horizon-lines.com/

I can assist the buyer by taking the Limo to the docks for shipping, however, buyer must make all arraignments & pays for shipping & transport. I have used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) to ship cars to & from Hawaii and as far as Switzerland.  Please ask questions BEFORE you bid. I encourage and welcome you or a representative of you to come inspect before you bid. When you bid, you are entering into a contract to purchase if you are the winning bidder. You are not bidding to "look" at the car and then decide if you want it or not. Please message me BEFORE you bid if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks. If you do not contact me before you bid, your bid will be automatically cancelled. The Limo is sold "AS IS". A $2000.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction ending. I have purchased& sold many vehicles on eBay. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!!

Small 3-row crossover SUVs specifications compared on paper

Thu, May 10 2018

There's no shortage of three-row vehicles on the market for carrying seven or more people and their stuff wherever they all need to go. Just about every car company has at least one large crossover or traditional SUV with three rows of seats, and there are still plenty of minivans to pick from. But most of these vehicles are large, pricey, and frequently thirsty. Fortunately, there are still a handful of smaller crossovers that deliver 7-passenger capability in a smaller, cheaper package. We've gathered four of the small three-row set here to compare them based on space, power, fuel economy, pricing, and more. They include the very old Dodge Journey, the slightly less old Mitsubishi Outlander and Kia Sorento, and the relatively new Volkswagen Tiguan. You can see the raw numbers in the chart below, followed by a more detailed breakdown and some notes on how we like each of these vehicles. For in-depth opinions on the vehicles, be sure to check out our full reviews, and if you want to compare these with other vehicles, try out our comparison tools. Engines, transmissions and performance Interestingly, three of the four crossovers here utilize similar engines for their four-cylinder offerings. The Dodge, Kia and Mitsubishi all feature naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. Only the Volkswagen Tiguan chooses turbocharging and a smaller 2.0-liter displacement. But because of its turbocharger, the Tiguan's four-cylinder is easily the most potent, making a healthy 221 pound-feet of torque, which is more than 40 more than the Sorento, the crossover with the next most torque. The VW is also second-most powerful, just one horse behind the Sorento. The Outlander is the least powerful in the four-cylinder class. The Journey is only barely better, but it will probably feel as slow or worse thanks to its ancient 4-speed automatic. The four-cylinder Sorento and Outlander each have 6-speed automatic transmissions, and the VW has an 8-speed. The Sorento with a V6 has an 8-speed, too. View 17 Photos Moving up to the V6 class, the Outlander is once again at the bottom. It actually makes less torque than the turbo VW Tiguan. The Journey and Sorento are almost perfectly matched. The Journey makes a bit more torque; the Sorento makes a bit more power. The Journey also gets upgraded to a 6-speed automatic. Another powertrain consideration to bare in mind is whether all-wheel-drive is necessary.

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
