2012 Dodge Journey Four Door SUV
*** REPAIRED DAMAGED VEHICLE *** Very nice looking 2012 Journey, but with one major concern; it has been in an accident and repaired. Damage was to the front driver's side of the vehicle and sustained just over $20,000.00 in damage. Frame was damaged, but was but on a frame rack and pulled back into shape ( 8 hours billed ), Also there were over 15 hours of mechanical repairs, 34 hours of body repairs, and close to $12,000.00 in parts changed. Since Damage was over $2,000.00, I believe I have to disclose all this history. Some repainted areas now have paint that is over 4 times thicker than factory paint thickness. I will let you decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Seems to drive OK, and I was told that it was repaired back to factory specs, so it should be just as good as before the accident. Please look at the pictures and feel free to bid accordingly. According to two national price guides ( gold book and the black book ), the current resale value of this vehicle, without additions for options and low kms, is averaged at $24,050.00 New buyer to pick up, or pay for delivery charges to your location. Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

We were definitely rock stars at the 20th edition of the Dream Cruise.
The yell came from somewhere in the crowd: "Hey Hellcat, push it!" We obliged with a jab of the throttle, and the 707 horses of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat roared to life. It went on like this. All weekend. It's one thing to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise, it's quite another to star in it.
Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets
Fri, 18 Oct 2013Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.
