1997 Dodge Caravan SE (pictures 1-6) $7,900. Has 100,838 miles and an AutoCheck report (like CarFax only more thorough) in hand that shows a clean title with no accidents. Equipped with a 3.3 liter V6 (17mpg city 23mpg highway), automatic transmission, power steering, tilt, A/C, power windows, power locks, cruise, am/fm tape & CD, dual air bags, 5 passenger seating, second sliding door, roof rack, privacy glass, and steel wheels.
The conversion is an IMS brand conversion with a manual ramp and door, which will not require costly repairs down the road like a power door/ramp would. The handicap/wheelchair conversion is a manual ramp and manual door conversion which makes this van great to transport a loved one, or for business purposes. The door and ramp are made to operate manually which saves loads of money on future repairs that a power ramp and door would cost. The floor has been lowered 10" allowing 53" of headroom coming in the sliding door, 56" of headroom inside the van, and the ramp has a 600lb weight capacity. Both front seats are removable to place a wheelchair/powerchair in either spot and the van includes all the tie-downs. Also has a black rubber flooring which will not stain or tear like carpet does. This van has been designed to last with as little as maintenance as possible.
Mechanically the van runs and drives great. It has no funny noises or leaks, all the equipment including A/C work as they should. On 8/27 I had a new power steering pump, reservoir, & pulley installed which was a major job and totaled $611.01. On 8/22 I had a new blower motor resistor installed for $41.15. I have ALL the receipts on this work to show proof and for warranty purposes for the future buyer. The body is in good shape with no rust and a few small scratches and dings from general wear and tear but nothing major. The interior is clean, no tears, and no odors.

Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
Vin Diesel reveals first poster for Furious 8
Wed, Apr 20 2016Vin Diesel unveiled the first poster for Furious 8. The image shows Dom standing on a deserted road with his Dodge Charger with the tagline: "New roads ahead." Diesel's post doesn't offer any other new details about the much-anticipated action film, which is still a year away from theaters. While this image is teasing, we continue to get a better idea of Furious 8's cast. Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's son, has a prominent role in the film, and Charlize Theron plays a villain. Dwayne Johnson also confirmed his return as Hobbs. Plot details still vague, though. An earlier teaser from Diesel hinted that some of the movie might take place in Manhattan, which could be an amazing setting for automotive stunts. The crew has also been filming north of Reykjavik, Iceland, which would be a great locale for off-road action. Furious 8 will hit theaters on April 14, 2017. Dodge idles Viper production again at Conner Avenue
Mon, 07 Jul 2014You've got to hand it to Dodge for having the gumption to put the original Viper into production in the first place. It was, after all, much more of an emotional decision than a practical one, and a move which saw the first production V10 engine placed in a road car - long before the advent of the Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT or Lexus LFA, not to mention the other Ford, BMW and Volkswagen Group models that used such engines.
It's now been 22 years since the first Viper entered production and the Viper still rolls on several generations later, but we're sad to say that courageous decision has not always been met with overwhelming sales success. In fact parent Chrysler was forced to idle the Conner Avenue plant where the Viper is made back in April due to slow sales. And while production resumed again as planned on June 23, it apparently didn't do the trick.
As a result, Chrysler corporate communications chief Shawn Morgan revealed to Autoblog that the assembly line has been shut down again for another two weeks. The line was up and running for nearly two full work weeks from June 23 until the holiday weekend that started on Thursday, July 3. But instead of coming back online today as planned, it's been idled again for the weeks of July 7 and 14. That means it will be July 21, at the earliest, before the serpentine supercars start slithering down the assembly line at Conner Avenue again. Once it does, however, production is set to resume at the same pace it was before the shutdown.
