Location:

United States

Here I brought to you a clean 2007 Dodge Wheelchair Accessible Grand Caravan SE, with the Braun conversion package on it. This van has only 117680 miles on it. The body, the engine and the transmission are all in good condition. The interior of this van is clean and outside is the same just normal wear. There are no holes or tears in the carpeting, cloth seats or headliner.

Braun Corp did the wheelchair conversion on this van. They are the leading builder of wheelchair accessible vans in the country. Everything about this van is done well. They lowered the center section of the van to give you 54 inches of passenger side entry height and 57 1/2 inches of interior height.  The dual sliding doors and wheelchair ramp are all manually operated, so there is less to go wrong!  The ramp and door are both very easy to operate and take very little effort.  The ramp is 29 1/2 inches wide and can hold up to 800 lbs.

The van also comes with wheelchair anchoring points built-in. The floor is lowered from right in front of the rear 3rd seat to right underneath the front passenger seat. The front passenger seat comes off and, if you remove it, you can fit two wheelchairs in this van.

THIS VAN IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND ENJOYED RIGHT AWAY. All the power and electronic equipment work like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I can help you arrange to have this van shipped to you, if you wish. If you have any questions about this van please feel free to contact me via eBay messaging. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you. And Happy bidding!

Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production

Wed, Dec 10 2014

Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years

Tue, 06 May 2014

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.
