2005 Handicap Wheelchair Van on 2040-cars
Canadensis, Pennsylvania, United States
2005 Dodge
Handicap / Wheelchair van with 36557 miles.
In nice shape, everything works.
Cold AC , 80% tires and fresh oil change and service. Front
wheel drive only (NOT AWD). Both front
seats come out. You can leave driver’s
seat in and can put wheelchair in passenger’s position so they don’t have to
ride in the back and get sick. Has automatic ramp on right side slider door. This van has a left side slider door as well
as well with no ramp. The van squats or kneels
down when ramp comes out. Ramp can be deployed from driver’s seat on dash or
from inside by door. I got this van for
my mom to bring her out more and looked at quite a few vans and this one had
nice features and was in great shape and
low miles. Please note this van has a
reconstructed / salvage title. It was in
an accident prior to us getting it but everything is good on it … there are a
couple dings in the paint here and there and you can tell it was
repainted. But mechanically it is in
very good and sound shape. I am an ASE
certificate mechanic and looked it over close before we got it and have gone
over it since we owned it …. After all it was for my mom !! So don’t be afraid of the title. The mileage seems correct too. I got this from a family who used if for their
dad it worked well for them. It runs
great and there is no rust. Now that my
mom has passed we don’t use it. This will
make someone else’s life a bit easier as it did ours. Vin # 1D4GP24R56B509158 $15,750.00 Or Best Offer. |

FCA cuts powertrain warranties to 60k miles
Fri, May 29 2015FCA US is cutting back the mileage of its powertrain warranty on some 2016 model year vehicles. Rather than the current five years/100,000 miles of coverage, the new amount is five years/60,000 miles for gasoline-fueled models from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram. In March 2015, General Motors made a similar switch to five-years/60,000-miles of coverage for Chevrolet and GMC, and FCA US seems to be citing this as part of the reason for the shift. "Following changes already made by competitors, FCA US is adjusting powertrain warranty coverage for 2016 model year vehicles to be more consistent with industry practices," the automaker said in a portion of its statement. The bumper-to-bumper warranty for these vehicles is unchanged at three years/36,000 miles. According to Automotive News, Fiat's warranty is remaining at four years/50,000 miles. When it changed the mileage limit, GM also halved the number of free service visits for Chevy, GMC, and Buick to two from the previous four. The automaker claimed that the reason for the adjustments to its coverage was that a long warranty was seldom a reason for customers to buy a vehicle. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Chrysler recalling 278,222 trucks and SUVs over bad rear axles
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Chrysler has issued a recall of 278,222 light trucks and sport utility vehicles here in the United States. The reason: bad rear axles. Specifically, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear axle pinion nut may lack a necessary adhesive patch, which could cause the nut to loosen. If this happens, the axle can lock up, which could cause all sorts of havoc on the road.
This is an expansion of the rear axle recall announced in October of last year, where 44,300 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota models were being called in. At that time, 12 accidents had been reported due to the faulty axle pinion nut.
Affected vehicles include Ram 1500 trucks from the 2009 to 2012 model years, Dodge Dakota models from the 2009 to 2011 model years, and both the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango SUV twins, both from the 2009 model year only.
