**PRIVATE SELLER** I am not a dealer I am selling this 2003 Dodge Caravan for my parents. This Grand Caravan SE is a 2 owner non-smoker vehicle. Van has always been well maintained and I have all the service records to supply the new owner. It comes equipped with a 1 year old Pride Silverstar Scooter/wheelchair lift. This lift cost $2500 new and was only rarely used. Its still in new condition. This lift allows for safe secure inside the vehicle transport of your scooter or wheelchair at just the push of a button. (PLEASE NOTE: Scooter shown in pics is not included in the sale) I just used it as a reference to show you how the lift  functions. This vehicle has 4 good Michellin tires with plenty of tread left. It has a brand new alternator installed just this week and comes with a lifetime warranty. There are many new parts on this van. Tt has always been very reliable and needs nothing. Its ready to drive cross country if need be.It has just over 146,000 miles but the majority of these miles are highway miles due to my mother needing to travel a good distance for work every day. Engine runs and sounds like new. The tranny shifts very smoothly and brakes work perfect. Its comes equipped with front and rear a/c and it blows ice cold. It also comes with crusie control, power windows, power door locks, power steering and power brakes. My parents removed the 3rd row seating to have the lift installed. They still have the seat and it will be included in the sale. If you need to have the lift removed it can be removed in about 15 minutes. All you have to do is remove 4 u-clamps and unclip the wire harness. If your in the market for a reliable well maintained lift eqipped van than look no further. I don't think you will disappointed come take a look and test drive today! photo outsidevan001_zps337ba3ba.jpg photo outsidevan002b_zps4d87d843.jpg photo outsidevan002_zps8c3dd452.jpg photo outsidevan005b_zps119296f6.jpg photo outsidevan005_zpsb15514f3.jpg photo outsidevan004_zps8f486051.jpg photo outsidevan006_zps617958e0.jpg photo outsidevan003_zps24aff55c.jpg photo outsidevan008_zps1328acbc.jpg photo outsidevan007_zpsfc7f7aeb.jpg photo MOREVAN014_zpsaf466d6c.jpg photo MOREVAN015_zps9f4ce1bc.jpg photo MOREVAN016_zps9becaad9.jpg photo MOREVAN022_zpsbf989491.jpg photo MOREVAN010_zpsd2e82fe4.jpg photo MOREVAN018_zps2e597cfe.jpg photo MOREVAN021_zps1a102816.jpg photo MOREVAN019_zps0305225f.jpg photo MOREVAN009_zpsf14c6275.jpg photo MOREVAN012_zps6b009cda.jpg photo MOREVAN011_zps5b638842.jpg photo MOREVAN006_zps790d8d74.jpg photo MOREVAN008_zps1dff5a2d.jpg photo MOREVAN007_zpsb80d0561.jpg photo outsidevan010_zpsd7e046a9.jpg photo outsidevan011_zps89fa00d9.jpg photo outsidevan009_zps2432a9f6.jpg photo outsidevan012_zpsa7fa68c0.jpg photo vanlift002_zpsa2eee842.jpg photo vanlift001_zpsc85eac76.jpg photo vanlift011_zps2150c1e0.jpg photo vanlift010_zpsabbf3517.jpg photo vanlift009_zpsc80d30f3.jpg photo vanlift007_zpsc3858b58.jpg

Recharge Wrap-up: LA Auto Show may feature updated Cadillac ELR, Uber expands Chicago HQ

Tue, Sep 30 2014

A Kentucky man has converted his 1939 Dodge pickup to an electric vehicle. Al Gajda of Lexington built the electric truck, which he now uses as his daily driver. "I take advantage of any excuse to drive it; just banging around town, errands, short runs on the interstate, delivering my granddaughter to school in the morning," he says. It is powered by a lithium-ion phosphate battery, which is mounted in a wooden box on the truck bed, and gets about 100 miles per charge. Read more at the Lexington Herald-Leader. 2021 L.A. Auto Show roundup | All the reveals, reviews, pictures

Thu, Nov 18 2021

The L.A. Auto Show took place this week for the first time since the onset of the pandemic. It was a show packed with news and reveals, which hasn't really been the case with other shows we've seen this year, and Autoblog was on the floor covering every minute of it. Well, Riswick and Stocksdale were, anyway. The rest of us were sitting at home in our sweatpants, but hey, we'll take credit anyway. Let's get to it. Hyundai Seven Concept This is the Hyundai Seven Concept, and it’s meant to act as a preview for an incoming electric SUV for the Ioniq brand. It leans more toward the concept side of the spectrum than a production car, but expect the final SUV to take design cues from the Seven Concept. Kia Concept EV9 The Hyundai Seven counterpart isn't the only big, bold electric SUV at L.A. this year. Kia has its own take, and it's a modernized version of the traditional boxy utility vehicle called the Concept EV9. It also previews one of the next production electric cars for the brand, which should look right at home next to things like the Telluride. 2023 Kia Sportage HEV As promised, the 2023 Kia Sportage HEV has been revealed. The hybrid powertrain makes the compact SUV the most powerful version available, and it goes on sale next year. The engine is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder paired with a 44-kW electric motor. Total output is 226 horsepower. The company didn't give a torque number, but it should basically be the same as the Sorento HEV that has the same basic powertrain: 258 pound-feet. Those numbers are a healthy step up from the 187 horsepower of the base 2.5-liter engine. 2022 Range Rover If you noticed how extra smooth and suave the new Range Rover looked during its recent reveal, Autoblog's James Riswick got a design tour that revealed some of the technological secrets to its success. "Less is more" is harder to achieve than it looks. Fisker Ocean Fisker has brought the new Ocean EV to the L.A. Auto Show, with a public preview at Manhattan Beach and a presence at the show itself. You can watch the public show reveal above, and see more shots from the show floor below. Fisker says the Ocean will start at $37,499 before incentives. That entry model would be the Sport trim with a single, 275-horsepower motor driving the front wheels and 250 miles of estimated range. It also has a 0-60 time of 6.9 seconds. 2023 Toyota bZ4X This is the 2023 Toyota bZ4X, due to hit U.S.

2016 Jeep Wrangler recalled over impact sensor wiring

Thu, Oct 20 2016

Fiat Chrysler just announced a pair of recalls totaling nearly 311,000 units. The bigger recall affects certain 2016 and 2017 model year Jeep Wranglers. Although, since FCA claims all of the affected 2017s are in the company's hands, really, only 2016 owners should pay attention here. The affected Wranglers suffer from an issue where wiring disconnects from impact sensors in certain types of crashes, potentially preventing the airbags and pretensioners from activating. FCA uncovered the problem in what its press release calls "a routine, in-house crash test" and claims "service availability is imminent." The affected Jeeps require a simple rewiring. The other recall, announced Tuesday, is more of a fleet issue, affecting 2007 to 2013 model-year Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and 3500, 4500, and 5500 chassis cabs and 2011 to 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit police vehicles. There's a problem with "premature diode wear" in alternators that are subject to "frequent load cycling, at or near maximum amperage, [or] in hot ambient temperatures." Affected alternators could short out, causing a vehicle to stall or potentially catch fire. FCA lists 182,743 affected Wranglers in the US, 18,011 in Canada, 3,087 in Mexico, and 20,948 in global markets. The Ram/ Charger Pursuit recall lists 74,833 vehicles in the US, 10,077 in Canada, 1,088 in Mexico, and 134 outside the NAFTA region. Of all those vehicles, the Jeep recall hasn't caused any injuries or fatalities, while FCA says it's aware of one "potentially related injury" and no accidents due to its fleet vehicle recall. FCA says it will notify owners/operators of affected vehicles when service appointments are available. As per usual, all the work is free of charge. Related Video:
