2000 Dodge Durango SLT 4X4 I have driven this Dodge personally up and down the highway. The Engine is smooth with no rattles or any other troublesome noises. There are no check engine lights on. I just replaced the ABS Sensor. All the windows work. The Transmission shifts like it should. The Interior is in good condition there are 2 little tears on the front of the driver's seat. The Exterior is in OK condition as well, it has a couple of scratches and some damage on the rear Drivers side. The drivers lock regulator needs to be replaced. It came from Chicago so there is some rust. The AC is Ice Cold. The Tires are in good shape. The Car Fax shows 1 Owner with an accident being reported 2/25/2010 on the rear. The New owner will have to get a bonded title. It belonged to a friend of mine that Father gave it to him, and he signed the title but did not register into his name. I bought it and had the fly wheel replaced, and the power steering fixed, and replaced the drive shaft so that the 4x4 will work. The 4x4 is in great working condition. I bought it for my son, but his mother decided he needed a 4 Cylinder car instead of this V8. If someone is in the market for a good Family SUV with third row seating, I would highly recommend this 1 Owner 4x4 Durango with ONLY 65,474 MILES. PLEASE CALL OR TEXT DARRELL COOPER 972-849-6714. Thanks for looking

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is ready to serve and protect
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Okay speed freaks, it's time to update your cheat sheet of police headlights, as Dodge has just unveiled the new 2015 Charger sedan's police variant, the Pursuit.
Like previous Charger Pursuits, the 2015 model is based on a modified version of the civilian sedan, featuring the same basic batch of mechanicals and sheetmetal, while adding a number of items specific to the five-oh.
For 2015, cops can select from the same 3.6-ltier V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 available to the civilian population, with former turning out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the latter packing 370 ponies and 390 lb-ft. Even loaded down with equipment, Dodge claims the Hemi-powered cop car can hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, while both engines are expected return 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode). Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, while V8 Pursuits can be fitted with all-wheel drive.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?
