2 68 Mopar Projects!!

1st is a Dart GTS roller I purchased from Georgia was a 340 auto, now no motor and trans. Needs some body work, rear floor pans, and spare tire pan. Has the 8 3/4 rearend, bulge hood, center console, and correct seats but need recovered.

2nd is a Dart GT Convertible I purchased from Kansas which I have almost completely disassembled and was in the process of POR 15 the unibody. Car has no motor and trans. Needs rear quarters, piece in front of trunk, rear tire pan(which I have but not installed)and new convertible top. I already installed front drivers floor pan and frame rails are in good shape along with the rest of the unibody. It has the front disc brake set up, 2 steering columns(to change into 4 speed set up), center console, regular hood and bulge hood, extra set of fenders, and newer wheel and tires.

Both cars will make great projects and only selling due to moving and need to downsize my collection. I have a clear title on the GTS and a bill of sale on the GT Convertible. GT is on jack stands with everything removed from the unibody. For an additional cost I also have a 69 340 std bore block which has already been machined, a polished uncut 340 crank, roller rockers, and an A Body 4 speed.

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee

I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.
