1974 Dodge Dart Swinger

This is a fresh trade in here in the Atlanta area!
1974 Dodge Dart Swinger w/ the slant 6 clyn. engine.
I am not sure of the cubic inch.
The vehicle stands up pretty tall. It is not perfect, but certainly not bad. It is showing 90k miles, I do not know the actual miles on the vehicle. It will be sold "miles exempt". The body is in pretty good shape. I do not see any rust really anywhere on the body, I took a picture of the trunk, under the mat, and you may see a rusty look, but the trunk and floorboards are not "rusted out"... Everything feels solid as far as I can tell. The car runs and drives out very good. I drove the car approx. 20 miles before listing it and I see no mechanical issues to make mention of. But what I have found not working: The speed odometer does not work. The factory temp. gage does not work, but the previous owner installed an after market temp. gage and oil pressure gage which do seem to be working properly. The wipers do not work. And the after market radio does not work. All head lights, tail lights, & blinkers are curently working fine. The tires are new. Part of the driver side body molding is missing. The vehicle DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE. 1974 IS NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A TITLE. It will be sold with bill of sale only. I took alot of pictures for you to view. If you have any questions about anything I have not mentioned please ask. You may call me on my cell # 678-776-5093. We are located at 4710 Atlanta Hwy 78 Loganville, Ga. 30052 (approx 40 miles east of Atl). Garner's Auto Sales Inc.
Thank you!

Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).

Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

Mon, Dec 22 2014

With less than two weeks until 2014 takes its final bow, anyone and everyone is looking back on the past 50 or so weeks to see how they stacked up. For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... Scroll down to see the rest of this year's most searched for automakers, and then head into Comments and let us know if you're surprised by any of these. This content is hosted by a third party. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
