1973 Dodge Dart 4-Door Slant 6 225C.I. Very Clean body, no rust, straight frame. Never needs to be smogged. Clean title. Currently registered. The mileage reads 7900, which is obviously wrong. I was told this was a one-owner car (before me) but I don't know the history of the car. I inherited it and just trying to sell it. Car was originally blue, but was repainted tan. Still blue in the trunk, and carpeting is blue. But rest of upholstery is tan. Not original upholstery, but in great shape. Car runs, but runs rough. Has air conditioning, but needs to be hooked up - the belt to run it is missing. Easy fix. Vinyl roof is in excellent condition. Clean tail-pipe exhaust. No water vapor, no white or black smoke. No burning oil smell here. I just have no use for the car, so pricing to move. You pick up. Feel free to ask questions.

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

Fri, 23 May 2014This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.

eBay Find of the Day: 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with 504 miles

With just 504 miles on the odometer (according to the description and not the images) and "no defects at all," this 1994 Viper is a rare find indeed. Tack on the Buy It Now price of just $37,500 and it seems like a steal - especially when checking out the prices and conditions of other early Vipers currently listed on eBay.
Even after spending months ogling the all-new 2014 SRT Viper, it's hard to ignore the raw beauty of the original open-top model. From the three-spoke wheels to the calf-searing side pipes, everything about this Viper looks just the way it did when it rolled off the line almost 20 years ago. The seller even says that the top and windows have never been installed meaning there are no scratches anywhere on this car!
