1971 dodge demon 408 small block eagle crank and rods edelbrock heads msd dist pro systems 950 carb factory disc brakes up front drum in rear 8/34 rear end with 4.56 gear new moser axles w spool New 28x9x15 Hoosier slicks fresh 727 trans with new reverse valve body ptc convertor solid roller cam (mild) new msd digital 6 box turbo action shifter monster tach water and oil pressure gauges car has nice cage but still has rear seat and all lights still work even the light in the trunk!! So it would take very little to make it street legal. 989-233-8213 the car does have some nicks and chips but still shows well it has amsoil synthetic trans and rear end lube in every as far as drive line has less than 50 miles and 20 passes car runs consistent 7.20 1/8 mile best of 7.16 the car has full exhaust and line lock nice solid mopar . I did change the air cleaner out from the one that is in the pic it now has a chrome one with a demon charcter on it

Dodge Viper GTS-R goes back to old-school livery
Fri, 20 Jun 2014The Dodge Viper may have been around now for over 20 years, but as far as racing achievements go, 2000 was its finest season. That's when it won the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the GTS class trophy at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its second consecutive title in the American Le Mans Series.
Since then, SRT Motorsports hasn't quite had the same success, withdrawing from Le Mans this year and shedding the Dodge name and its emblematic red and white livery for the SRT badge and a silver snakeskin theme. But now that the Viper is back under the Dodge banner, so too is the racing team returning to its classic livery.
Starting from the six-hour race at Watkins Glen next week, both the No. 91 and No. 93 Viper GTS-Rs will wear the red base color with twin white racing stripes that its more accomplished forebears wore on circuits around the world. And with it, maybe the Viper will return once again to the winner's circle at home and abroad.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.

Furious 7 is in theaters right now, and based on the trailer, it promises the biggest stunts ever from the long-running franchise. And in just a few weeks, Mad Max: Fury Road hits cinemas to add a dystopian tinge to the automotive action.
