IT HAS FORGED CRANK RODS AND FLAT TOP PISTONS. J HEADS THAT HAVE BEEN MILDLY PORTED WITH STAINLESS 2.02 VALVES WITH MATCHING COMP VALVESPRINGS. IT HAS A NEW EDELBROCK AIR GAP INTAKE WITH A HOLLEY 850 CARBURETOR. CAM IS A .525 COMP HYDRAULIC WITH DOUBLE ROLLER TIMING CHAIN. YOU CAN DRIVE THE CAR ANYWHERE AND IT ALWAYS DRAWS A CROWD. THE FLOORPANS, FRAME AND TRUNK ARE NOT RUSTED OUT. OTHER THAN A FEW SMALL PLACES THE CAR IS VERY SOLID. THERE IS A FUEL CELL IN THE TRUNK BUT THE TRUNK WAS NOT CUT TO PUT IT IN. THERE IS MORE INVESTED IN MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION THAN I AM ASKING FOR THE CAR. THIS IS A USED 41 YEAR OLD CAR SO I AM SURE THERE ARE THINGS I FORGOT SO ASK ANY QUESTIONS. CAR HAS ONLY BEEN RAN ONCE IN THE 1/8 MILE AND IT RAN 8.00 ON HARD STREET TIRES SPINNING BADLY. THIS THING IS A BEAST ON THE STREET AND A BLAST TO DRIVE. I CAN HAVE DELIVERED TO MOST PLACES FOR 1.50 PER LOADED MILE.
HERE IS A SMALL VIDEO OF THE CAR RUNNING, JUST COPY AND PASTE.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat #0001 raises $825,000 for charity
Sun, 28 Sep 2014$60,000 doesn't strike us as a lot to pay for a muscle car with 707 horsepower on tap. $825,000... now that's a different story. But, according to the official SRT blog, that's how much one generous and eager buyer paid for the privilege of getting his (or her) hands on the very first new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Decked out in Stryker Red paint that's usually reserved for the Viper, the supercharged Challenger bearing the VIN 0001 went up for auction at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas on Saturday under the auspices of Barrett-Jackson. By the time bidding ended, the gavel dropped at $825,000 - nearly 14 times the sticker price - 100 percent of which will benefit Opportunity Vehicle, a charity that aids the intellectually handicapped in the Las Vegas Area.
We cruised Woodward in the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/video]
Tue, 19 Aug 2014
We were definitely rock stars at the 20th edition of the Dream Cruise.
The yell came from somewhere in the crowd: "Hey Hellcat, push it!" We obliged with a jab of the throttle, and the 707 horses of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat roared to life. It went on like this. All weekend. It's one thing to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise, it's quite another to star in it.
How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer
Sun, 16 Nov 2014Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.
