I'm selling a 1966 DODGE DART GT. I had bought this car the way it is. It was made into the race car and it's ready for the track. It has a 340 small block Mopart motor with a Nitras Ready set-up. There is a bracket for the NOS tank next to fuel tank in trunk to get everything hooked up. The motor runs great. The rear was tubbed out slightly to throw some wide tubbed tires. The car was redone as a hobby to do seasonal races and have something exiting to drive on the weekends. The car was taken out on the track and was a great eye catcher for everyone. The car ran low 12 seconds in a quater mile, but i haven't recently tuned the carb and motor to know the exact time now. Motor and tranny works great in this car. The 340 small block has a 11.5 to 1 compression. the 340 small block is most common MOPART block in these cars. The body is in great hape, just has a small dent on the roof, and on trunk lid ehich is shown in photo's. It's a great original Mopart car to own.

What it needs: The rear window needs to be put in. I have no rear glass on this car. The alternator also needs to be put  on someone's preference. When i go to track we don't run those cars with alternators, but i have bought a new one if someone wants to install it. The car does NOT have a NOS tank just equipment and hook up for it.

This is a great loooking and running race car. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 631-902-5310.

Dodge Hellcat orders on hold due to 'unprecedented demand'

Sun, Mar 15 2015

Want to get your hands on a 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger or Charger Hellcat to call your very own? We don't blame you, and you're not alone. According to Motor Authority and confirmed by a spokesperson from Chrysler, Dodge has gotten so many orders for its stable of Hellcats that it simply cannot keep up with demand: "Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system." Put another way, if you're waiting for a Hellcat, your wait is likely to be a lot longer than you'd like. We've reached out to Chrysler to find out how long it might take for a new customer to get a new Hellcat, and we'll update if and when we hear back. Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
