I just purchased this truck from a dealer in December. This was a rare find being one owner and low miles plus the 4wd and Blue paint. The dealer changed the oil, flushed the coolant, new brakes and brake lines, new battery and front axle. The truck runs perfect and I decided I would make it 100% so in December and January I had the following done:

  • TRANS SERVICE
  • DIFF SERVICE
  • TRANSFER CASE SERVICE
  • NEW SERPENTINE BELT
  • (8) NEW DENSO SPARK PLUGS
  • NEW FLOWMASTER MUFFLER
  • REAR SWAY BAR LINKS (METAL)
  • BEDLINER
  • NEW EXHAUST CROSSOVER PIPE WITH (3) NEW CATS AND (1) OX SENSOR
  • NEW REAR BUMPER (ORIGINAL OWNER BACKED INTO SOMETHING)
  • OIL CHANGE LAST WEEK

SO IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS I SPENT AROUND $2100.00 JUST TO MAKE SURE THE DAKOTA WAS READY FOR ANYTHING. I DO HAVE ALL THE RECEIPTS.

WHY I AM SELLING

WE JUST FOUND OUT THE COMPANY I WORK FOR IS CLOSING THE LOCAL PLANT THIS MONTH.NOW WILL HAVE TO DRIVE A LITTLE OVER 130 MILES A DAY FOR WORK AND SINCE I HAVE 2 YEARS UNTIL RETIREMENT I HAVE TO STAY HERE.

SO I AM BUYING A SMALL CAR FOR THE GAS MILEAGE AND I REALLY DON'T NEED TO HAVE 2 VEHICLES AROUND HERE.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!

ONE SMALL DENT BEHIND DRIVER'S REAR TIRE.(SEE PIC)

THIS DAKOTA RUNS PERFECT, QUIET UNLESS YOU STEP ON IT, DECENT GAS MILEAGE, THE 4WD WORKS GREAT WITH NO NOISE OR VIBRATIONS, HOT HEATER, ICE COLD AIR, RECENT TIRES TOO!

HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN HAND.

SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET A GREAT TRUCK!!!

Dodge to resurrect Scat Pack?

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Before social media ever existed, if automotive enthusiasts wanted to be noticed or recognize other fans, they joined a car club. For Dodge muscle car lovers from 1968 through 1971, that group was known as the Scat Pack. Just like the Charger, Challenger and Dart nameplates, it looks like the Scat Pack could be getting a resurrection by Chrysler.
Automotive News is reporting that Chrysler recently renewed its trademark on the Scat Pack name, and while this is in no way a guarantee that the name will return, AN talked to Tim Kuniskis, Dodge President and CEO, who stoked the fire a little more. In the article, Kuniskis said that the name is "a very important part of our history" and added that "we like the whole idea of having a Scat Pack of cars." Scat Pack models were identified by their bumblebee stripes and helmet-wearing bumblebee logo, and the idea of a modern Scat Pack doesn't seem all that outlandish in light of recent vehicles like the Charger SRT Super Bee and the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Concept.
What do you think, is this a cool idea, or is it just an unwelcome bit of nostalgia? Have you say in Comments.

NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged

Fri, 23 May 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.

Dodge hoping Fast & Furious appearance gives Dart a sales jolt [w/video]

Tue, 28 May 2013

According to Automotive News, Chrysler is hoping Fast & Furious 6 will be kind to the Dodge Dart. While the compact sedan doesn't actually show up in the film, Dodge has partnered up with the movie franchise for a new ad featuring the Dart.
Chrysler hasn't exactly seen the high sales numbers it was originally hoping for with the new sedan, thanks in part to a couple of missteps. For starters, most early-production vehicles were only offered with a manual transmission. Analysts believe Chrysler squandered around 95 percent of potential Dart sales because automatic transmission options weren't immediately available.
Right now, the Dodge Dart rakes 19th among compact cars, pulling down 31,064 sales through April. Last month was the company's strongest, with 8,099 units moving off of dealer lots. Unfortunately, the model has also been handicapped by its older sister, the Avenger. With Chrysler throwing heavy incentives at the aging sedan, many consumers have taken advantage of a better deal with the slightly larger, more powerful Avenger.
