Car was never wrecked or taken apart. it has ALL it's original metal. It's got a clean under carriage This car is reliable starts every time as you can see in the video. Doesn't knock, Smoke, Leak, Burn oil or overheat. Engine is very strong. This is a 2 owner car. The family whom i bought it from, (the lady you see in the picture above) her and her husband Bought the car here in Las Vegas Nevada from their neighbor in 1987, He was the original owner. The odometer reads 69279, I spoke to the previous owner the other day, because i had a few phone calls asking me more info about the miles from the last time i had this car listed, and he told me he's willing to sign a document stating that those are the original miles. he told me he never used the car as a daily driver and never taken out of state. So listening to him speak with great confidence about this car it is believable. It's got a 400 v8, 727 torqueflite automatic transmission. The only changes that have been done, The previous owner installed a Eddlebrock carburetor and intake. Other than that the car is plane jane bone stock. The car has been sitting for about 6 years, So we had the radiator flushed put new coolant had the oil changed flushed the gas tank several times. The paint appears to be original and touched-up through the years. The seats and headliner were re-upholstered. The door panels and carpet are original, They show a little normal wear and tear nothing major. You have to press real hard in order for the horn to work. The power window switch needs replacing, only the drivers window goes up and down. Windshield wiper work, Switch is a little funny. Shifter linkage has a little play nothing major. Power seat works but it's missing the forward button. Turn signals, brake lights, head lights and flashers all work fine. The body is straight it has some chips and scratches small dings here and there nothing major. There's no rust in the truck as you can see in the pictures. No rust under the doors. The fenders are solid as well as the hood and trunk lid. Car was never wrecked. It's got a clean Nevada title as you can see in the pictures. Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am
Fri, 15 Aug 2014NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.
Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test
Mon, 30 Sep 2013We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.
Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death
Tue, 07 Jan 2014There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.
