1969 Dodge Coronet (Super Bee Clone)
Complete car (minus the motor and transmission) **Restoration has already been started** ::BODY:: The fenders, trunk lid, and doors have had body work PROFESSIONALLY done, and they are currently in primer. The hood is the correct fiberglass A12 six pack hood. The tail panel was recently painted Super Bee correct. The car is from New Mexico so yes, there is surface rust from the sun. Again, SURFACE RUST. The underneath is in excellent shape, and displays no rot or rust. ::INTERIOR:: The interior is the correct Super Bee interior. The rally dash has been painted the correct color black, and there are no cracks or tears in the black dash pads. The floor shift steering column has been painted the correct black. (All of which looks new) The bucket seats have the head rests and a 6 way adjustable track. They are complete but need restored. The back seat is in great shape, it just needs recovered to black. I have brand new floor plates for the bucket seats still in the package. The head liner is brand new and still in the package. The black door panels and arm rests are in excellent shape. All of the body gaskets are brand new, and still in the packages. The majority of everything is there to complete the car minus the motor and transmission. It is a solid New Mexico car that does not need much body work. My intentions were to obviously clone it as a Super Bee and turn it into a street strip vehicle. I have since purchased two other cars, and have been focusing my attention on them, therefore I do not have time for this car, and hate seeing it sit in storage. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years
Tue, 06 May 2014Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

2013 Dodge Durango R/T
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.

Cars.com runs 11-second quarter with Dodge Charger Hellcat
Mon, Jun 1 2015The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and its Challenger sibling are two of the heroes of the modern performance world. With a headline-grabbing 707 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, their output even shames many supercars. But how quick can one really cover a quarter mile? Cars.com recently decided to find out by taking a Charger Hellcat to the drag strip to see if the sedan lived up to Dodge's 11-second claims. The results were quite impressive. After 13 quarter-mile runs of adjusting variables like the tire pressures and the car's various electronic aids, the Charger Hellcat managed a pass in 11.03 seconds at 126.61 mph – the pinnacle result of the day. This car was mechanically stock and wore the optional Pirelli P Zero tires. According to Cars.com, other quick sprints reached 11.09 seconds and 11.1 seconds, which even beat the site's 11.41-second best from a Challenger Hellcat last year. Getting the Hellcat's prodigious power down without losing traction was a challenge, even on the summer tires. Cars.com thought it had a run that could have dropped below 11 seconds, but then the wheels spun. Using the factory-recommended pressures, the Charger Hellcat was no still slouch with an 11.27-second time recorded, but taking things down to 25 psi proved the quickest at the strip. We already knew that the Charger Hellcat was a wonderful vehicle for eating up huge gulps of asphalt at high speeds and could verify its 204-mile-per-hour top speed (quite a bit faster, incidentally, than the Ferrari California T's 196 mph top-speed). Apparently, the 11-second quarter-mile claim is just as accurate. Also, for any curious owners, the Cars.com story divulges many of the tweaks required to reach this seriously quick time.
