1967 Dodge Coronet R/t Hardtop 2-door 7.2l on 2040-cars
Yadkinville, North Carolina, United States
First time I took it down the strip all I could say is WOW. Body is solid front to back with cosmetic rust spots but no rust issues to be concerned with. Fresh Build on Engine. 8.75" POSI rear with 15" alloy wheels with Mickey Thompson 29X18R15LT Street Slicks on rear and 8" wheels on front with Michelin 205/70 tires. New Shocks. This engine was just professionally built and is it hot. The tranny has been professionally rebuilt and has a 3000 stall. It has the original shifter in the floor. All Glass is good, very little rust as you can see and yes it turns every head it passes on the street. Licensed for the road and insured currently but is a formidable competitor on the track. ( I ran the 1/8 mile two times just to see how powerful it is, I let off both times but I'm old and bald and my nerve is not what it used to be. Interior has been modified but not botched. It has a Nascar 11,000 RPM Tach and Oil Pressure and temp gauge. Nicely done. I do have the complete original interior items but am not selling with this auction. If someone wanted to go back original it would be easy to do as the work was done by a professional. I have receipts for the following and specifics for the following and will do my best to describe. I am not technical so you may have to look at the paperwork to . Engine completely rebuild: It has two Holley 660's sitting on the intake, a velocity stack, new linkage and studs. Comp Cam, Comp Rockers, Comp Springs, New Push Rods, Comp Timing Chain, Block fully machined by a professional, New Plugs, wires and ignition, new Belts and hoses, all new gaskets, Fuel Filter, Electric, New Starter, Mallory Ignition, Fuel Pump, (Fuel Cell) and battery in trunk)New Fuel Hose front to back, Tranny pan, New Oil Pan, Flow Master Shorty's with 3 " Exhaust, Hedman Headers and boy does it sound good. New Battery and all new wiring professionally done. B&M Torque Converter, B&M Flex Plates, Transmission cooler. You can see all the tricked covers on the engine including valve covers, powder coated alternator, chrome caps and etc. , New Radiator Cap, New Wheel Cylinders, I have all Boxes for large items like CAM with paperwork and invoices. This car was done right. Drive it around town or take it to the strip. Either is fun. I will post a couple of YouTube videos with a walk around and it running for you to take a look as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06iEDfui5hA My Name is Mike, I'm not a dealer just buy a few cars to play with here and there and the garage is full and I have no room for this beauty. I have owned it less than a week and can only tell you I have ran 2 tanks of fuel through it and it seems to run out fine. 93 octane of course but no booster. My Phone is 3364074963 On Sep-21-14 at 16:09:31 PDT, seller added the following information: The Yadkin Cruisers had a Cruise In this after noon and I drove this car over. Within minutes the car was surrounded by no less than 10 people gawking over it. It stayed that way the whole time. This car demands attention with its custom rat rod look, and awesome power train the lope alone is musical. Better hurry and get this one guys, my wife wants me to keep it. Ha! |

Is America's last cheap minivan worth it?
Wed, Dec 16 2015Take a good look at this beauty. Because once she's gone there may be no turning back. The minivan market has been completely decimated over the past fifteen years. I could list all the former brands (dead and alive) that once formed the lynchpin of parenthood for this inherently conservative market. But that would involve at least fourteen commas, three sets of parentheses, and possibly even one 2000s-style recount. Back then, middle-class America loved these people-movers and even the well-to-do were glad to load them up with unique luxuries such as power sliding doors, captain's chairs, integrated child seats, and DVD players that entombed cacophonous kids into a temporary silence. Back in the '90s, the minivan market regularly realized well over a million sold units a year. In 2000, minivans finally hit their familial peak of 1.4 million vehicles in a year with the help of two top-20 bestsellers: the Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country. Today the minivan just isn't popular. This year it'll likely represent only a half-million in annual sales, with not a single minivan hitting America's top 30 in overall volume. But as I always tell folks, "If you want a deal, you have to hit 'em where they ain't." So you want a cheap and affordable minivan for cash money that isn't a 15-year-old Plymouth in purple? Does it have to be new? Really? Well, if you're married to that type of person, this Grand Caravan with the American Value Package is the cheapest thing going. Deals can also be had on the mini-minivan Mazda5, but since it's been discontinued due to low demand, let's focus on the still-popular Chrysler minivan. The cost for this 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan according to TrueCar is right around $19,500 depending on where you live in the USA. But let's take a look at the 2015 models instead since they tend to have even stronger discounts during the wintertime thanks to manufacturers and dealers who are busy shoveling out all this older inventory. If you opt for a 2015 model instead, you're looking at a market price right around $17,800 and luckily these minivans are still sitting in multitude. Wanna click those rebate and incentive buttons? If you currently lease or finance a FIAT or Chrysler product, have AAA coverage, and finance the car with FCA, you can make off like the proverbial bandit for a price of only $15,229 before the dealer inflicts their bogus fee money dance.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.
