Up for auction is my 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T convertible. This car is a running and driving project car in need of restoration. Body wise, the car will need fenders, quarter panel work, some light trunk work, some light floor panel work and some repair to the transmission cross member near the right rocker panel (visible in a picture below). Mechanically, the car retains its numbers correct engine and transmission with 96,000 original miles. Engine runs well and transmission shifts well. The car is equipped with an 8 3/4 rear end with a 3:23 axle with no sure grip. It is a column shift automatic car with an AM radio, buckets seats and no center arm rest, crank windows. Manual four wheel drum brakes and power steering. The following is a list of items I've recently installed on the car for the ease of driving it: new fuel tank, 5/16 sending unit, tank straps, new fuel lines, new Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor, new fuel pump, water pump, alternator, voltage regulator, battery, re-cord original radiator, all belts and hoses, master cylinder, all new brake lines, rebuilt drum brakes at every corner, tires and a new exhaust system with Dyno Max Hemi mufflers. Included with the car is a new pair of Legendary front seat covers. The rest of the interior is in very decent shape including a nice dash pad, door panels front and rear, rear seat cover, sun visors and newer carpet. No tail pipes on car currently. They're included in the sale. Been driven around locally for the past few months and the car get thumbs up where ever it goes.
Obviously this car needs restoration and I'm open to questions but don't ask me to dive it to Florida or win a show with it, it does need work and the price reflects that. This car is very rare 1 of 628 ever made. It does have the original fender tag, engine, trans and a clear title. Very fair reserve. Contact Dave with any serious questions at 734-624-2212 Not open to trades at this time.

Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
Watch the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat verify its 204-mph top speed
Thu, Jan 29 2015The industry is producing some ridiculously fast four-doors these days, from the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte to the Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5. But the fastest of them all doesn't cost six figures. It doesn't even come from Europe. It's made right here in North America, by a US automaker. And it starts at under $64k. We're talking about the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Pentastar muscle sedan with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 707 horsepower. Dodge claims it's the "quickest, fastest, most powerful [production] sedan ever," and they're not just blowing smoke... or smoking tires. During the final stages of development, engineers from Auburn Hills took a bone-stock, Hellcat-powered Charger out to a seven-mile oval for a top speed run and they filmed the occasion for posterity. The result? 206.9 miles per hour with the wind, 202.2 against it, for a two-way average top speed of 204.55 mph. Chew on that, imports.
Dodge celebrates big B-day with 100th Anniversary Editions muscle cars
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Being in business for 100 years is a HUGE milestone, so we hope Dodge has more in mind to celebrate its centennial than just a special edition package for the 2014 Charger and Challenger. Called the 100th Anniversary Edition package, this collection of cosmetic enhancements will be available in limited quantities for both cars at a cost of $2,500.
Ordering a Charger or Challenger with the 100th Anniversary Edition package means starting with either a V6-powered SXT Plus or V8-powered R/T Plus model. They can each be ordered in many colors, but only the High-Octane Red Pearl Coat above is an anniversary exclusive. Each car also comes with an anniversary-exclusive set of 20-inch, five-spoke wheels with what Dodge calls "Granite Crystal pockets," a texture that's also mirrored on each car's grille.
Of course, there are commemorative badges galore affixed to the exterior of each car, including "Dodge Est. 1914" fender badges and "100" logos on the center caps of each wheel. The styling theme of each car's interior is a bit more interesting, with Dodge designers trying to evoke "the patina and machinist legacy of John and Horace Dodge," the company's founders. To that end, the leather interior can be had in Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa, and each features a custom cloud overprint that makes the hide look like a working man's dirty dungarees. Designers also used brass-colored accent stitching on the interior's leather trim pieces, and affixed more "Dodge Est. 1914" badges to the front seat backs and floor mats. We do like the flat-bottomed steering wheel, and the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition gets exclusive white gauges faces and the Charger black. The "100" on each car's speedometer is also highlighted in red.
