1967 Dodge Coronet 2 Dr Post, 472 Hemi, Outstanding Rare Rust Free Straight Nice on 2040-cars
London, Ontario, Canada
Outstanding in everyway is this 1967 Dodge Coronet 2 door post. The paint on this car is of very high quality on a laser straight rust free body this is show quality paint. Not to mention the build on this car was outstanding in every way. I have owned this car for 4 years and never put a wrench on the engine other than to change the oil. It has an outstandingly built 472 Hemi with a BDS 1071 Blower topped off with a pair of 1050 Holley Dominators. This car has the best of the best in parts and was not a cheap build it has a special built GM 400 Turbo with a Trans brake (not wired never used) It has a narrowed Dana 60 with 3.7 gears tricked out axles. The car sports 17" wide drag radials with decent bite for street use. If you were going to track the car should have slicks. Has front to back 3" stainless exhaust sounds real mean. The car is equipped with 4 wheel wildwood brakes top of the line. This car is very well equipped and cost over $125,000.00 to build 7 years ago. every thing was top shelf. I have driven this car around on the hottest days never heats always drives and handles with no issue, no brupps of farts, just runs like a clock, goes like a raped ape. one of those holly shit rides. Its a true 10 Sec. car with exhaust and street tires. Oh I almost forgot to mention that the car is backhalfed one of the best I have ever seen so well done. The car launches hard and straight it I have had it down the track once 3yrs ago turned 11.12 sec in street dress and I cant drive meaning it was my 3 time down a drag strip in 20 years. They would not let me run again because my helmet did not meet the standards. The car is well worth the money and the time to view if its not as nice as I say and you get here I will pay your way home, so come look if you want a ride like this.
This car would be a nice addition to any collection or just make a great weekend cruiser for the person who wants a Super nice Coronet. Check the photos out as they speak for themselves. This car is for sale locally and may be withdrawn at any time. I encourage you to stop by and inspect this car yourself or your inspector because seeing is believing. I will help with shipment over seas, I can take to a seaport for your convenience for a small fee. I will Ship the car to Buffalo N.Y. or Detroit MI. Area For transport through out the USA. For a small fee. There's a small broker fee of $450.00 to have the paperwork done correctly so this car can be register in any state with ease. I am easy to work with and I am willing to help any way I can to make this an easy transaction. If I haven't said this before this car drives just like it would have when it was brand new in 1967 but better. If you really wish I would drive this car to your front door for the price of fuel that might cost but could be done, expenses, and plane ticket home for me and my friend. That's how confident I am in this car. Truly is a nice example. Want more pictures just ask. Will consider trades????????

2016 Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats see doubled production
Mon, Jul 27 2015The launch of the Hellcat supercharged V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger for the 2015 model year was a massive success. The one-two punch of muscle cars probably grabbed the brand more headlines than it had seen in ages by offering a world-beating 707 horsepower from the growling engine under the hood. The only real wrench in the works was keeping up with all of the orders. For 2016, Dodge might have fixed that little problem with plans to make more than twice as many of these mean machines Despite production seeing a massive boost, a few customers with orders for 2015 examples will need to wait just a little longer to experience those 707 ponies. The automaker will cancel any unscheduled, sold orders for the current model, but those buyers will receive a discount on the 2016. Similar to last year, dealers will earn their allocation of the muscle cars based on Dodge sales and how long the Hellcats stay on their lots. There are some very tiny changes for any buyers who are holding out for the 2016 Hellcats, too. Mechanically, they are identical to the 2015s with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and eight-speed automatic. The interiors see some improvements, though. Both the Challenger and Charger now receive standard Laguna Leather upholstery and an improved 8.4-inch Uconnect system with navigation, an HD radio, and five years of SiriusXM Travel Link and Traffic. Orders for both open in the second week of August, and production actually begins in September in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
New Viper 'is a possibility,' Sergio Marchionne says
Wed, Jan 13 2016It was thought the door to the future for the Dodge Viper had closed last year, but Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne reopened it during his press conference at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Marchionne said the current Viper is the only FCA product to use the ZD platform, which "doesn't make sense to me." Yet, "given the architectural development within the brand, there is a possibility that a new version of the Viper may surface." Automobile reports that the company uses a versatile, rear- and all-wheel drive Giorgio platform for Alfa Romeo and Dodge. It will support the Alfa Romeo Giulia (Alfa Romeo's larger BMW 5 Series competitor), the next-generation Dodge Challenger, Charger, and rumored Barracuda, and it could support a new generation of Viper. We're probably talking about a different kind of Viper, though, with Automobile saying, "the current car's truck-based V-10 no doubt would be scrapped along with its platform." A Viper without a V10 doesn't seem like a Viper to us, but we'll wait to see what happens. In the midst of contract negotiations for a new labor agreement between FCA and the United Auto Workers last year, it emerged that the Conner Avenue Assembly plant that builds the Viper hadn't been given any new product after the end of Viper build-out in 2017. That led most to reason that the current Viper would be the end of the 25-year run of America's hairiest sports car. How long we'll be waiting is unknown. Marchionne had no timetable and admitted that a future Viper might not appear on the heels of the current one. With a renewed commitment to being debt-free by 2018, FCA is likely more focused on getting Alfa Romeo running properly and cranking out the volume variants for the Giorgio platform first. McLaren, Koenigsegg, Toyota, Ford, Dodge and Corvette Lego kits announced for 2021
Tue, May 4 2021Lego has announced a slew of car-themed sets for 2021. The six kits comprise nine vehicles and fall under the brick pusher's Speed Champion line of official OEM-licensed kits. News of their arrival comes from German toy retailer JB Spielwaren's pre-order listings, which show three single-car sets and three dual-car sets of matched marques. Starting with the McLaren Elva roadster, the kit consists of 263 pieces and is finished in blue. It seems to have a difficult time capturing the curves of the real-life Elva, but there's only so much you can do with a bunch of plastic blocks. Lego has made several other McLaren kits before, including the Senna, 720S, and a more advanced Senna GTR for the Technics line. Next up is the Koenigsegg Jesko, made up of 280 pieces and finished in white. Though the real-life Jesko is still curvy, this kit does a better job of replicating its aggressive maw, vents and cantilevered rear wing. Rounding out the single-car sets is the 299-piece Toyota GR Supra in yellow. This marks the first time Toyota has lent their license to Lego. Again, it struggles a bit to represent the curvy Supra, relying on printed details like logos and headlights to identify. On the other hand, the Chevrolet two-car does a stupendous job with the 1968 Corvette. The C3 is instantly recognizable as such. The C8-R race car it's paired with suffers from the same issues as some of the previous cars, though. The set contains 512 pieces, and funnily enough the C8 driver has short hair while the C3 driver sports a period-correct wavy mane. The next set is a 627-piece Mopar-themed pair, including a purple (Plum Crazy?) 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A and an SRT top fuel dragster. The race car is spot on, but the Challenger was probably tough to make given the width restrictions. It looks a couple of pegs too narrow compared to the wide proportions of the real deal. Last but not least, the Ford set contains a Bronco R and Ford GT Heritage Edition. Consisting of 660 pieces, the set does an excellent job of representing both cars. The GT looks faithful in its Gulf livery, and the Bronco R looks more like a real Bronco than the actual Bronco R race truck. All in all, it's always fun to see more Lego sets with real cars, and we're glad to see more manufacturers added to the roster. The single-car sets are recommended for ages 7 and up, while the double-car sets have an 8 years and up rating. Price in U.S.
