Owned 34 Years 1969 Dodge Se Charger # Match 383-4 Ac 140+ Photos & 2 Videos on 2040-cars
Holden, Missouri, United States
This is a nice car that has been with the same owner for the last thirty four years. It has always been garaged in a climate controlled environment. It is a numbers matching "H" code car (383/335HP 4 barrel) that came loaded from the factory with options. It is a true SE silver/black interior car that is turn key and ready to enjoy. Located below, you can hear from the owner himself as we chit chat about how he came to own it, when he started restoring it, how long it took to get it restored, his assessment on the quality of the body & paint, his fondest memory in the Charger, why he has decided to sell it, and much more.

Silver/black vinyl top
Air conditioning & heat
Power brakes
Center console w/ woodgrain
Power windows
This is a very straight car that retains 95% of its original sheet metal. The only metal that has been replaced was done so within the very lower sections of the quarters. The body and paint work was done right. There is some minor blistering within the bottom of the drivers side quarter and within the deck filler panel (please see photos). The glass & stainless through out are in excellent condition. The grill has been redone and is also in excellent condition.
Everything within this Charger has been gone through. The original numbers matching 383 was pulled and completely rebuilt by Anderson Racing. One of the biggest items Bill loves about this car is that it never gives him any problems. He can hop in, hit the key, and it fires up every time. It has no mechanical problems. The transmission shifts out smoothly with out any hesitation. The car steers and brakes in the exact same manner.
The interior of this Charger is nice and comfortable. The AC & heat work exceptionally well. Through out the interior, all of the electrical components work well with the exception of the rear drivers side window.
I have over 140 photos available as well as two videos. This Charger does come with additional parts, its original build sheet as well as a clear title. If you have any questions, just let me know. Have a good day.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats
Sat, 16 Aug 2014If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with '600-plus horsepower' officially unveiled [w/video]
Tue, 20 May 2014Dodge has officially unveiled the most powerful vehicle to ever wear the Challenger name - the SRT Hellcat - complete with over 600 horsepower courtesy of a supercharged, 6.2-liter Hemi V8. It will be offered alongside the 485-hp Challenger SRT.
The new, force-induced V8 isn't just the most powerful ever fitted to the Challenger, it's the most powerful eight-cylinder Chrysler Group has ever built. Power figures aren't finalized, so expect to see "over 600 hp" bandied about quite a lot. That fury will be channeled through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Yes, over 600 ponies through an eight-speed auto. So far, the only vehicle we know of that delivers more output through that many gears is the as-yet untested Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Sadly, we don't have performance metrics just yet, although if this thing can't crack four seconds to 60 miles per hour, we'll be pretty surprised.
As is the theme nowadays, the 2015 Challenger SRT features a number of driving modes, governing power output, shift speeds for the 8AT, steering effort, traction control settings and suspension settings. There are three pre-programmed options - Default, Sport and Track - and a Custom mode that allows drivers to mix and match to their heart's content.
Zombie cars: Discontinued vehicles that aren't dead yet
Thu, Jan 6 2022Car models come and go, but as revealed by monthly sales data, once a car is discontinued, it doesn't just disappear instantly. And in the case of some models, vanishing into obscurity can be a slow, tedious process. That's the case with the 12 cars we have here. All of them have been discontinued, but car companies keep racking up "new" sales with them. There are actually more discontinued cars that are still registering new sales than what we decided to include here. We kept this list to the oldest or otherwise most interesting vehicles still being sold as new, including a supercar. We'll run the list in alphabetical order, starting with *drumroll* ... BMW 6 Series: 55 total sales BMW quietly removed the 6 Series from the U.S. market during the 2019 model year. It had been available in three configurations, a hardtop coupe, a convertible and a sleek four-door coupe-like shape. BMW i8: 18 total sales We've always had a soft spot for the BMW i8, despite the fact that it never quite fit into a particular category. It was sporty, but nowhere near as fast as similarly-priced competitors. It looked very high-tech and boasted a unique carbon fiber chassis design and a plug-in hybrid powertrain, but wasn't really designed for maximum efficiency or maximum performance. Still, the in-betweener was very cool to look at and drive, and 18 buyers took one home over the course of 2021. Chevy Impala: 750 total sales The Impala represented classic American tastes at a time when American tastes were shifting away from soft-riding sedans with big interior room and trunk space and into higher-riding crossovers. A total of 750 sales were inked last year. Chrysler 200: 15 total sales The Chrysler 200 was actually a pretty nice sedan, with good looks and decent driving dynamics let down by a lack of roominess, particularly in the back seat. Of course, as we said regarding the Chevy Impala, the number of Americans in the market for sedans is rapidly winding down, and other automakers are following Chrysler's footsteps in canceling their slow-selling four-doors. Even if Chrysler never really found its footing in the ultra-competitive midsize sedan segment, apparently dealerships have a few leftover 2017 200s floating around. And for some reason, 15 buyers decided to sign the dotted line to take one of these aging sedans home last year.
