NO RESERVE - 1973 Dodge Charger with rare 440 Magnum engine. Purchased to restore but unfortunately have too many projects going on. Engine is a Rare 440 big block, believed to be (E440) 1969 -- 440. Has large double pumper carburetor, headers, holley street dominator high rise intake, M/T aluminum valve covers. Excellent looking old school setup which has been sitting for years stored away. Someone could have this setup running again in short order as engine has not been touched in a while per previous owner. Clean under body, very straight Old School Charger with minimal rust. Car exterior is complete with only the windshield aluminum trim missing. Interior is missing the plastic center console, shifter knob and backrest of the rear seat. Tires hold air but will need to be replaced and brakes redone. Wiring for Mopar electronic ignition will also have to be redone. The engine does turn-over freely, oil, transmission fluid and spark plugs look good. Driver side floorboard would have to be replaced/welded. Free and clear title with VIN numbers and buck tags present on fender aprons. Good solid project car for restoration or excellent father son project with No Reserve. Please bid with complete confidence after reviewing my feedback. This car is being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Feel free to email any questions or call Gerry at 786-624-9641 as I have tried to give an accurate description of the car to the best of my knowledge. Serious bidders and buyers only please. If you are new to Ebay or have zero or negative feedback please call me to discuss. $500.00 dollar non-refundable deposit due within 24-hours of auction end and full payment due within 3 days of auction end. Shipping is completely buyers responsibility but I will assist in loading if required. I reserve the right to end auction early as vehicle is being sold locally. Thank you for looking.

2015 Dodge Challenger configurator has all the Hellcat you can dream of

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has sucked up a lot of air in the automotive news world this summer, so it's good to know that you can actually go out and, you know, buy the sucker. With 2015 models headed for your local showroom, Dodge has seen fit to also pull the wraps off it's latest Challenger configurator, complete with the supercharged Hemi V8 option that we just can't seem to get enough of.
We're still enamored of the $58,995 starting price for the 707-horsepower SRT, but the online tool finally gives us a chance to see just how optioned up our dream super-muscle coupe can get.
Buyers can choose from three interior treatments and nine paint colors, with two hues (Ivory White and Phantom Black tri-coats) coming for a $500 premium. For $1,795 Laguna Leather SRT bucket seats can be added in place of the (very nice) stock chairs, and a fancier infotaiment system with navigation and HD radio runs $695.

Dodge gives 2015 Viper slight power increase, new GT model

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

With its troubling sales figures, the newly rechristened SRT Dodge Viper needs to come out swinging for 2015. To do that, Dodge has made a number of tweaks and changes that will hopefully carry the V10-powered sports car into more successful days.
First up for 2015 is a new GT model, which aims to marry the reasonable price of the base car with the adjustable suspension and trick stability control program of the GTS model. The GT also sports a cabin that's covered in Alcantara suede and Nappa leather as standard.
Also new for 2015 is the SRT TA 2.0 Special Edition, which expands on last year's Viper TA by adding new aerodynamic bits and bobs, including a larger rear wing, which ups downforce at 150 miles per hour from 278 pounds to 400 pounds.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat revving is sonic bacon

Fri, 23 May 2014

This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.
Of course, you should be the final judge here. Take a look and a listen at the two videos below, one of which comes from our friends at Cars.com that provides a nice look under the hood, and then let us know what you think of the Hellcat's singing voice in Comments.
